So as an Italian from New York, I am serious about my Italian restaurants. It's not every day that I find one that really impresses me. I do not say this lightly, but this is my favorite Italian restaurant in a LONG time, if not ever. The patio atmosphere is great and the decor is beautiful. I tried the Azzurra martini and it was hands down the best martini I've ever tried. It's a real gin martini which balances perfectly with the herbal notes and the wine. Highly recommend it for any martini lover! We also had the grilled octopus appetizer and it was AMAZING. The char is delicious and it is cooked perfectly. Very tender, not too chewy. My boyfriend had the capellini scampi and I had the zucchini noodles. Both were amazing entrees. Our only regret is not having big enough stomachs for dessert! We will have to go back to try. Please give this place a visit! Make sure you make a reservation because they book 2-3 weeks out. Their patio and bar seating is first come first serve, so you might get lucky and find a last-minute seat, but it's well worth the reservation!

Stubbled across this place on accident when the original restaurant I was heading to ended up being closed, this place was a quick walk up the street and I’m so happy to have found it!! Food was great, the owner Walter was amazing and accommodating. The food was delicious and the wine was splendid! Will be returning for SURE! :)

First and foremost, Walter, the manager, was beyond accommodating when we accidentally arrived nearly an hour early before our reservation. We sat on the patio for a little bit before getting seated inside. Having the gas heaters outside was pleasant. Once inside, it’s a quaint place, with a fantastic view of the open kitchen.The wait staff, particularly David, stood out for exceptional service! He was our waiter for the evening, and was extremely helpful with describing all items on the menu, specials included. It was an absolute treat having the Veal Milanese as an entree special! My brother ordered their other special, the Steak Sebastian, which he ate with a huge smile! Flavors were refined, elegantly presented, and beyond impressive.In all honesty, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were so great that we didn’t bother to take any pictures. For dessert, we had the tiramisu, which was beyond impressive! While they ran out of the cheesecake, I guess we’ll just have to come back again.For those that might be indecisive about what to order there, allow me to share an observation; nearly every other item that left the kitchen was either the pork chop and/or the penne vodka. From overhearing other diners, these are fantastic choices. The mashed potatoes were quite nice as well!While this is a minor detail, it is worth noting…I really appreciated that all wait staff took the time to wipe all of the silverware before setting the table. They are very attuned to customer service and we will definitely be back again for more delicious food and drinks!(also, their restrooms are immaculately clean)
Last night we were dazzled by the food, service and lovely reception we received at Azzura. This was our first time dining here. My husband devoured the chilean sea bass until every mouth-watering bite was gone. I had the seafood linguine and it surely did not disappoint. Javier gave us excellent service and Azzura is sure to become one of our most favorite restaurants on Water St in Henderson. Thank you to all of you who work so hard at Azzura. We WILL be back! Had such high hopes for this new restaurant. The food was fantastic—delicious.Gross mark came when random waiter rudely asked us to leave because they needed the table. It was a Monday evening and we had only been there for 90 minutes. I understand needing the table but he could have graciously asked us to move to the patio for coffee for after dinner drinks, etc.Very poor taste in our mouth. Why would we return and why we would we tell others to? Very disappointed

We had a wonderful experience. We had people in town from Dallas, who are quite picky and foodies as well are we. Dallas has quite a food scene. Hence, Azzurra was put to the proverbial test. The food and service were nothing short of a culinary and entertainment experience. All of the food was prepared to perfection and the presentation matched this level. We had seafood (cioppino and Chilean sea bass), pasta (Angel hair shrimp scampi) and chicken (parmesan) as well as a couple of desserts (tiramisu and a neopolitan ice cream dish). They were prepared with great care and were incredibly pleasing to the eye. Walter, Chef Alessandra and the wait staff (David was our waiter) were tremendously welcoming, helpful and made the evening complete. We will definitely be going back and recommending it to our friends.
