I have no issues with the food, in fact I previously ordered from there. However, it is about the service today. The young lady (Athena )who rang up my order, was very unprofessional. She did not smile and she didn't say thank you. However, the main issue I had with her, she was conversing with her girlfriend who walked in, while preparing food. There were three customers in the store, who were waiting for their food (including myself) and only two people working. Two, then three customers walked in, who were waiting to order. Meanwhile, Athena continued to talk loud, with her friend! The whole store knew what they were talking about, they were loud, and were even using profanity! It was wrong on so many levels. First of all, this young lady, and her friend were very disrespectful to the older people in the store, and they both showed a lack of home training. Second, instead of Athena, explaining to her friend she was working, and would talk to her when she was available; I did not appreciate, she continued talking over the food, she was preparing. Not to mention, she was not paying attention to what she was doing, she continued to talk, while periodically looking down at the sandwich. The other employee (a young male) who was cooking, continued to work, and greet the customers that walked in. I could tell, he was aggravated, but neglected to say anything to the young lady. Finally, I was very irritated, and I didn't want Athena making my sandwich, so I asked the young man "excuse me, are you making my sandwich" and he stated 'yes, and handed me my sandwich, and told me thank you. I would have definitely, asked for a refund, if that young lady, had been making my sandwich. This particular Capriotti's is in a very nice neighborhood, however people often judge people in more poverish areas. This situation proves that it's not fair to judge, based on the location. When I was in High School, myself and a lot of my peers worked in Fast Food restaurants to make extra money, after school. We were taught general "Customer Service skills" like "Teamwork" and how to greet customers, and say thank you. Most importantly, we had proper "Home Training" and were aware, not to converse with others, while working, and certainly not to use profanity in front of customers. I do not plan to visit that particular"Capriotti's" again, for the fact that the young lady, was not instructed to go back to work, and to respect the customers. Furthermore, if she performs in that manner, in front of customers, I would not be surprised of the unethical things she's doing when no one is watching!

We have been a fan of Cappriotti for years.We love their sandwiches, so delicious and not dry at all. Employees are always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and super quick. They are always busy at this location, but the crew is very fast and there is no wait .Our favorite is: “chicken cheese steak “and it is so delicious that we keep coming back over and over again. Yummy! Their sub sandwiches are flavorful, made with award-winning traditional recipes, and fresh ingredients. Always fresh sandwiches at reasonable pricing.Always a go to spot for us when we need a quick bite and of course the food is always a bomb!Highly recommended! Definitely coming back!!

This is not my usual location but had to come in here the other night when no one answered the phone @ the other Eastern location so I drove over to it & found it closed, something was going on inside?? I would have called my order in here so it would have been ready for when I got there but didn't want to call into the wrong location. I've been here before but its been a very, very long time. It can be a pain to get out of their parking lot because you can only turn right & if you want to be going in the other direction you have to do a u-turn @ the light. The place was dead apx @ 1830 on a Tuesday night. There was one person picking up their order @ the counter. I LOVE the Ham & Cheese and they have taken it off the menu at pretty much every location so I can't even order this thru their mobile app if I wanted to nor is it on their take home menu or posted menu inside their store. You can still order it inside the store & over the phone. I told the cashier that I wanted a large ham & cheese. Their large are huge & pricey. Was like $22 for one. I cut it into 4 pieces when I get home because I can't eat it all in one sitting & I was saving some for the next day. I find its best to wrap it in tin foil to help prevent it from getting soggy from the oil & juices from the veggies. Usually when you place your order via phone or in person the employee will list off the standard ingredients that are placed on the sub & ask you if you want all of them....Kainuiakea didn't do that so I had to ask/confirm what is put on it, then I had to ask for extras. There was a young girl making the subs and she wasn't very fast. Also from past Capriotti's visit I have learned from management that their employee's take a course on how to make each sub, how much meat to put in them, etc but man I tell ya its always diff. My sub didn't have much ham as their suppose to put in it and I had way more bread then filling. At one point I had to rip some of the bread off the top piece so I could enjoy my fillings. The sub was tasty over all, I ended up adding some sweet pepper slices that made it have a nice sweet taste to it. The store was clean in the area that the customers are in but you have a peek of their outback which didn't look very clean from the ordering counter. I don't drink soda anymore & when I did I was a Coke fan & this place only carries coke products...Yuck!! Kainuiakea even got my name wrong when he asked me. Not a big deal as he's not the first to get my name wrong (Gina isn't a hard name....lol) & he won't be the last person too, but I did find it funny and didn't waste my time correcting him.....lol I don't mind coming here when the other Eastern location is the one I hit up when I'm in the mood for a Capriotti's!

Ordered a Bobbie and Cole Turkey on-line for pickup. The place was empty at 7:00 pm. The turkey on both sandwiches was dry. The mayo on the Bobbie and the Russian Dressing on the Cole were pretty non-existent. Started ordering from this location as the one closer to our home was awful. Workers these days just seem like they don't care about the quality of food prepared. Very disappointing. Won't return.
