Literally some of the best mac n cheese we've ever had. The ribs and chicken were amazing! We got tons of food and service was friendly and fast. Whenever we are craving BBQ but don't want to sit at a restaurant we come grab it from here. Recommend.

This great place is out of business & a new BBQ place is now there. I am so sorry to see them go - their food was great.

This is a great lunch spot that is good enough for dinner too. Rotisserie chicken is their specialty and has been the most consistent in flavor and texture. I love their Coop Rice and Dirty Rice. If a restaurant can make a simple item like rice actually flavorful then it's a good sign the people making it cares. Kudos for that. The Rotisserie chicken plates are best best for dinner. Good value and because you get rice and one side. My favorite lunch plate with my coworkers is the chicken and rice combo because you get two sides and garlic sauce. Surprisingly the quinoa salad is really refreshing and a good alternative to a heavy side. Overall, I would say this is good comfort food made easy to go and with enough options to scale up if you need to grab more food for a healthier dinner plan when you don't want to cook. They even have some slice of pies and cheese cake to round out your meal. Customer service feels very warm and welcoming too. Let these friendly folks put you up on a tasty plate!

My second visit at Chick N Coop, the same two workers were there a female and male. Entered at around 3pm, with no customers inside. Also during both visits both workers were not wearing a mask which is a bit concerning. I enjoyed the chicken and rice combo last time and returned to get the same. I was just here about 3 weeks ago and prices have drastically gone up. I paid $11.99 for the Chicken and rice combo which is now $13.99 and no longer comes with a drink. The pork belly went from $10.99 for the pork belly plate to $15.99!! That's insane, and to make it worse their website still reflects their old pricing. I've been ripped off of $7 more than I should've been. Aside from that my rice was hard as if it was out for awhile and my pork belly dry. Sides were left uncovered, the cucumbers in my salad were transparent and extremely mushy and my favorite garlic sauce had a flavor that tasted much more tart than the last time. Ordered two palates and got one set of utensils that was opened and missing the fork!! Does this tell me they're reusing utensils?! I should've left when I saw all these red flags but this is my last time here. As much as I want to support small businesses this is a major health hazard and disaster waiting to happen.

1.5/5 stars! I came in around late afternoon to get some food to go. This place is located in a small plaza with okay parking. When I came the parking lot was packed but, luckily I found a parking spot rather quickly. The interior had a decent amount of tables and chairs available. [Service] Upon entering, I was greeted by the staff. They were friendly enough. The one handling my food was not wearing a mask. [Food] I ordered the sausage plate combo. It came with two sausages and two sides. The sausages were EXTREMELY dry. Honestly after the first bite I just threw it away. The two sides I got were the macaroni salad and potato salad. I've had better macaroni salad at a gas station. The potato salad was alright. They also advertised a free fountain drink with every meal but, I did not receive one. Overall, I'm just so disappointed with the food. Especially considering the rave reviews of this place. I don't see myself returning. I recommend to just go to any bbq joint instead.

We used to love it... seems to be going downhill. Plain noodles with a chunk of cheese on top and sticky, not very good tasting, rice. :(

Was always curious about this place ever since I randomly saw it pop up out of no where some time ago. And I've been looking for a new place to get some meals with chicken when I'm done with the gym or during my lunch break. I came here to get some food to-go and I was very impressed with the menu. Tons of options for different meats (chicken, pork, beef), combo plates, bowls, sandwiches, and sides. What more to ask for?? I got a chicken coop bowl and they recommended some sort of creamy garlic sauce on the side. I love a place that has creamy sauces for my meats. The issues came when I got home and it was time to eat my food. There was liquids everywhere in the bag that came from within the container. It was so messy. Nearly everything was wet. When I opened the container, I was a little disappointed with the amount of chicken. It wasn't really what I was hoping for and with the excess amount of rice, it really made it look like there wasn't much chicken. The sauce and flavor of the food was great though. I loved it and have nothing bad to say about it! Just wish it wasn't so messy when ordering to-go and I would've liked to see more meat in my box. I'm looking forward to coming back though. Not a bad place for a quick bite.

Some of the best rotisserie chicken in Vegas. Highly recommend.

Perhaps some of the best ribs I have ever had...and it's at a fast food style restaurant! Chick N Coop is not technically fast food, but their restaurant and processes make it a fast food style experience. The rotisserie chicken is outstandingly moist and flavorful! The ribs are juicy, slow cooked, flavorful, and it won't take much effort to get the meat off of the bone! The sides are ok, but let's face it, you're here for the meats!!!

Absolutely delicious and tender chicken! When we walked in at 12:25pm we saw plenty of customers, but not one staff person. We're visitors to the area, so we had questions about the menu... in about 2-3 minutes a tall dark haired (with beard) young man came out and asked what we would like. He didn't try to explain the difference in options, even after I'd said we had never been here. This was a great opportunity for him to show enthusiasm about the products and share information about options, taste, product quality, etc. I felt let down as well as confused about the tastiest options. Hubby ordered the chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a side of beans. He loved the sandwich, but was frustrated with how 'wet' the bread was. His feedback is to let the chicken drain for a minute after taking it out if its juicy bath, then put it on the bread. His bread was literally falling apart in his hands it made for a very messy meal. He states that the coleslaw on the sandwich and the bbq sauce was excellent. He just hated the soaked bread. Since I'm allergic to MSG, I asked the young man if the au jus had MSG. He was so confused by this question, and asked where on the menu I'd seen it. Luckily Nick came to the rescue and said no MSG ! Hallelujah! So I ordered the coop chicken bowl and it was delicious. The garlic sauce was very salty, but the rice and chicken were amazing. I also thought the garlic sauce excellent, but less salt would have created perfection. We shared the side of BBQ beans and OMG! give me a bucket to take home..... so tasty and reminded me of childhood deliciousness. Educate the young man and y'all have a winner. Thanks Nick for good customer service and answering my questions. And I just realized I dug into my coop bowl before taking pics..... so sad.

We happened to be going down Gibson rd and saw this place. Stopped in, wife ordered the pork belly and I ordered the fully loaded baked potato with rotisserie chicken. Wow the food was beyond good. The people behind the counter were GUI k and friendly. Priced well for the amounts you get. We lucked into finding a new favorite restaurant.

First visit this mid-June, on a visit from Flagstaff. Nick was helpful, hardworking, and good to speak with. MY ORDER: Chicken & ribs, with bbq baked beans and potato salad. Hot sauces and bbq sauce were on the table, along with a handy roll of paper towels. WHAT'S GOOD: The rotisserie chicken was very tasty. The charred, crispy skin was the star of the meal, and was perfectly seasoned. That's not to say that the meat was dry; it was moist and tender, but the rotisserie-cooked skin definitely sets it apart. The ribs were also seasoned to perfection. The bbq baked beans had the thick consistency I love: no swimming, runny beans here! Potato salad passed muster and is a good side. BBQ sauce was a good balance of tangy and sweet, which is my zone. WHAT COULD BE BETTER: The ribs were underdone. That's usually not a bad thing, as rib meat is never chewy, but these thick spare ribs had a lot of fat, and I had to chomp at that until my jaw got tired! I think rotisserie ribs is a great idea given they can cook them long enough to render the fat, but not so long that the meat shrivels and falls off the bone. Bottom line: there's just not enough rotisserie cooking at restaurants, and this place does a good job. This kind of cooking is, maybe, the best way to eat meat, and you should give it a try if you're anywhere in Henderson.
