I went with a large group and was treated horribly. Our waitress chose who she did and didn't assist. I repeatedly had to have another member of our group request things for me as she ignored me. Then only brought out items requested by others. She loved to talk about being from NY and proved why I was never a fan of their hometown individuals unfortunately. This was on top of my group being left in the lobby for a table as others were seated and the restaurant being practically empty; which should have let us know to keep going elsewhere but the oldest member wasn't willing to leave.

Loved this little diner / cafe. Great staff. Food was good. The country potatoes were different from other places, but very tasty. Food overall was good and not overly expensive. Will be back!

My complaint is with the food. My husband and ordered salisbury steak. Both of us thought it sucked, mashed potato thick and broccoli halfed cooked. Should take off the menu. Second time we have eaten there and not over pleased.

Ordered the French onion cube steak and my hubby got the classic burger. For mine. The French. It’s a hamburger patty covered in very little onion gravey which they put the garlic sourdough on the bottom of everything. So yes. It will soak up the water from the veggie and the gravey. Leaving u with a soggy piece of bread. The mash potatoes are from the instant box. For my hubby classic burger. The fries are not fresh. Right out of the bag from the freezer also the hamburger has good flavor. But it’s the same sweet meat as I had. I had a hard time finishing it. Don’t eat the pickles, it’s just chunky relish.

When I got there, they told me it would be an hour wait. I got on a text message list. I was called in 9 minutes. I have been there many times and I have ordered the Reuben at least 6 times. Most of the time it is good, last night they turned a corned beef Rueben into a chipped beef Reuben with raw fries. Terrible.

TL;DR: Got kids? Not busy? Prepare to wait a quoted 1 hour. Also every 2-4 party of only adults will be seated ahead of you immediately. Go to South Point Cafe, trust me.Showed up at 8am, 2 adults and 2 kids, 1 table of 2 seated and 1 at the bar. We waited 10 minutes for a hostess to show up at the podium just to be quoted an hour wait time. She then proceeded to let a couple in with no wait, then an adult party of 4 in with no wait who were behind us. Of note, when she walked away, a new couple just walked past right to the bar, and were served drinks in minutes. I walked through and saw only a single booth table seated that was not the bar.Back when this was the Sunset Station Cafe and not renamed to Brass Fork, this was never an issue. The only logical conclusion I can come to was that we were not to be served because we had kids. Way to lose the local Dollar. We were regulars with extended family (up to 20 persons) pre-2020, and endured the season of a blown up kitchen and were extended the cafe menu while sitting in Cabo.We will not be returning, and I will ensure that my family does not either. South Point Cafe seated us immediately after this incident and they were near packed even with the rodeo in town.Kid-friendliness: NO. No kids whatsoever. Assumed 1 hour wait was because of having kids. Post-2020 issue.
