This place feels like a diner from somewhere like Tennessee. The food was good, albeit a little greasy. Iced tea, biscuits, bacon, home fries, and my wife’s scrambled eggs and French toast were all good. I ordered scrambled eggs and they gave me runny eggs. I also ordered home fries and they almost brought hash browns but caught it at the last minute and brought the home fries out later. My wife’s fruit cup was a little basic - just some banana, cantaloupe, and blueberries. The gravy tasted like it was made from scratch instead of a packet. The service was good, they just need to write orders down or work on getting them correct. With tip it was about $50 for breakfast for two people. Seemed a little high but at least it wasn’t just frozen stuff from Sysco.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for our stroller

I can only comment about some salads that I ordered to go. They were bounteous, meticulously prepared with the freshest possible ingredients, and pleasantly served.

We have recently started coming to this place and the service was excellent during our first three visits. However, during our most recent visit, I had to call to place an order and the woman on the phone basically yelled at me regarding my order. She told me that I was wrong for what I was asking, even though I was reading it directly off the menu. Perhaps edit your online menu?!As I have health issues, I need to be careful about what I eat, and this whole experience was terrible because of her behavior. While I understand that jobs can be stressful, there is absolutely no need to yell at a customer who is simply trying to place an order and support your business, which ultimately supports your job. It was a rude and disrespectful behavior.

My SO and I really like this place. It is like an old time rural cafe. It kind of reminds me of eating at a cafe in Pioche or Ely, NV. They have a large menu and the food is really good, and fast. The price is reasonable for today's extreme inflation. The service is mostly good but changes based on number of people and ability of server to remember what you asked him for.

This place is so cute. I love all the pictures that they have and it makes you feel like you're at home. They give large portions and it's right down the street. It's a down-home down the street restaurant by down home people.Parking: Lots
Recommended dishes: Chicken Fried Steak, Pancake or ft Combo, Old Fashioned Pancake or French Toast Combo, Brisket

3/22 service was good as always. For the first time food was awful. Waffle was dry and tough, my brothers Eggs Benedict way over cooked with hash browns looked & tasted old. Lady asked if he wanted something different so he ordered an omelet. By then I was done. When paying, no discount given, was even charged for the price of the eggs Benedict. Omelet was less. Very disappointed. Hope this isn't the start of a downhill trend.

Really comfy homemade style food. Everything we've had was good breakfast and dinner. Was disappointed by the peach cobbler.
