Went back and ordered the "SOUTHWEST SALAD" With a mild chicken breast and it was AWESOME! Angel took my order and brought it to the table. He was very courteous and professional. The presentation was great also. The salad has this black bean and corn salsa that gives the flavor a sweet crunch and the mangos made it really amazing. Highly recommended. The music was a little too loud for my taste and repetitive drums are not great when I came in with a headache but otherwise very pleasant experience.

The food was delicious . I ordered the 3 strips combo medium heat, my daughter and son original chicken sandwich combo. She got medium and he got hot heat. Everyone agreed we'd get a 32 oz. Frozen icee drink. That's the way we got to sample all three flavors. The strawberry flavor it just was strawberry you know strawberry hibiscus. The watermelon cucumber was delicious it probably was the favorite of the three. The lavender blueberry would come in second it's almost the first place depending on your taste buds. We also purchased a loaded fries medium heat to share among the three of us. It was pretty good the coleslaw doesn't have much flavor the fries being crinkle fries make it a little bit more filling as a meal the strips that are put on top or tender and delicious the pickles at a great flavor and a creative look just wish there was a little bit more in the box even though it was enough for S3 a little bit more would help especially for the price. And last a side order of coleslaw was purchased for the price and the container size I barely had any in the container the container wasn't even half full that was the sad part of the meal. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who took our order we were at the Henderson location it was the tall African-American guy he was amazing he explained everything to us he was very courteous and helpful and we really appreciated him he was very patient with us being that we were first time customers and had never eaten there before he gave us the breakdown on everything and he should be appreciated by management at that location he was amazing for us thank you. As far as the ambience inside the restaurant we did not eat at the restaurant but we did wait for our order it was very peaceful very open very spacious and very clean. Feels like the opposite as far as needing utensils and napkins everything was provided and are back to go which also they have them set aside on the counter for you to get as you choose. The bathroom was super clean as I had to make a bathroom run and wash my hands just from being out in the public but it was a very clean bathroom and the location was an excellent area. Unfortunately we were so hungry once we got back to our resort we forgot to take pictures but the food was delicious and we will definitely be a returning customer.

I've been here three times now. Note to self crazy time is around 11:30. It was packed. I had to be vigilant in getting us a table. Each time I've had the fusion fries. Omg they're so amazing!! Staff is nice as usual.

Food super tasty! If you order to go, check your order! Somehow our order took 30 minutes. After about 20 mins I asked the girl who took our order how it was coming along and she said it was "coming up." 30 minutes later we finally got it. Got home to find our two orders each had something missing. Sad to spend that much and not receive all that was ordered. :(

The chicken sandwich is really good and has a great balance of heat and flavor. The sauce that comes on the side is great for fries and adding to the sandwich, or using with the tenders. If you like spicy chicken sandwiches, check them out. I hadn't heard of this place before but I like it and will try different heat levels next time.

We love Houstons Hot Chicken and have came here countless times. We bring our friends and family here as well and everyone loves it! However there have been some major issues recently which prompts me to write a new review. We are almost always impressed by the quality of food, cleanliness, and fun, friendly staff, however our last few visits have been worse and worse. We think that this is due to new management and having a high turnover rate.Last time we were here we asked for one of the meals and the “new” female worker had no clue what we wanted and asked multiple questions that we had already answered as we were placing the order. She forgot to give us our drink cups and when we asked for it she gave us the wrong sizes. One big pet peeve and issue we noticed that day was food was not coming out together, not only ours but everyone’s in the restaurant. The food is always served very hot and can wait 20 seconds to be delivered together.Our most recent visit was just unacceptable for multiple reasons. First, bathrooms were very dirty. After someone had to complain, a female worker went in and threw away trash off the floor but didn’t wipe anything down or clean the toilet, just shut the lid for the next person to discover the mess. Another worker went in soon after to clean the bathroom again, however the toilet was still not cleaned and the trashcan was again left full.We ended up having to eat at a dirty table once again due to being close to capacity, however once everyone left tables were still not being cleaned. The same female worker ended up very slowly and reluctantly wiping down the tables with the same towel that she used to wipe down the trash can! She was all over the place cleaning the tables, doing little bits from each instead of fully finishing one and on to the next. The floors throughout the establishment were absolutely filthy, never being swept after wiping down the tables however the rugs were swept by a different person? Trash bins were being wiped down but overflowing trash was not being removed. Supplies near fountain drink were not being restocked as well and when they were restocked, someone would restock again minutes later. There is no communication between the staff members too busy on their phone or talking to do their job and it takes multiple people to complete the smallest tasks.Food is always amazing and the only reason why we return, however sauce cups were half filled this last time resulting in running out of sauce halfway through the meal. Fries were also not seasoned. A reoccurring issue we’ve had on multiple visits is running out of food such as fries and buns. After asking why this happens an employee mentioned that “corporate limits the amount of food a location receives a week regardless of how busy the location is”Sadly we won’t be visiting this location in person anymore and will have to end up getting food delivered or not at all because of the disgusting dining area. Every time I touched our already dirty table I couldn’t help but question if it was also wiped down with a trash can rag. So disappointing to watch this place go from our top favorite to one we feel we might get sick going to at this point

I wanted to try this place as someone highly recommended.I ordered the original chicken sandwich and 3 tenders medium spicy for my husband and the same for me but hot and I asked the guy to mark the boxes for medium spicy and hot.I got home and gave my husband the sandwich and he almost died because of the very spicy chicken. I checked the boxes and no marks on both. I gave him the other sandwich and was the same. So both of them were spicy!!!! So my husband didn’t have the chance to taste the sandwich! I tried both the sandwich and the tenders and they have this flour taste like you actually feel the flour and not the meat!!!Anyway that was first and last time going there! The sauce is way too sweet the French fries no taste

This was my second time at HHC. I had it a couple of years ago and was randomly craving it so decided to try it out again. It was just as delicious as I remember! I got the lift-off last time and it was great, but I wanted to try the spicy to see if I could taste more of the chicken. I am a huge spicy food fanatic, but I have to say the spicy tastes better than the life-off in my opinion! I love burning my mouth off, but not if it’s at the expense of flavor.I haven’t tried Dave’s, but I don’t think I’ll ever need to since HHC meets my hot chicken needs.

My first time here. The menu has a pretty wide variety of options for how you want your chicken from a scale of heat levels to the list of sauces you want for dipping but basically it all comes down to chicken sandwiches or chicken tenders. They also have chicken loaded fries too. I did feel a little rushed ordering at the counter, and didn't really fully understand what I was getting. I don't enjoy feeling rushed or pressured when ordering food and there wasn't a line of people behind me. I went with the Tenders & Fries combo. It came with 3 of the juiciest chicken tenders I've ever had. The chicken itself was delicious. The breading with the medium hot seasoning wasn't very well connected to the chicken and so it just became kind of soggy and flaked off in my fingers. It came with 3 pickles on a toothpick that were just ok, and a good helping of crinkle cut fries that were seasoned and pretty tasty. The meal included 2 house sauces which tasted like they had too much vinegar in them, and I had to pay $1 extra for a tiny cup of ranch. No drink and a 20% tip ran me $18. Kinda steep for what I got and I wasn't completely satisfied with the meal or my experience. Overall it wasn't bad, but with so many other chicken places I can't see myself going out of my way to have it again.
