I love coming here when I visit my family. The coffee is some of the best I have had. I only get it to go, so I cannot speak to the ambiance as much but it is super cute inside. The service has all been really great, and the baristas have all been helpful and nice. Highly recommend stopping by. My only issue is that they use a plastic style cup, with a plastic top and 'a plastic drink stopper. While it does not melt, I can't help but think of ingesting micro plastics. I will bring my own cup next time, and really hope they consider switching to a more sustainable option if possible.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in town. My coffee is spot on every time and I normally pick up a bag of beans to brew at home. The service is straightforward and they work hard to keep the place clean. Highly recommend to anyone who loves quality coffee!

i love coffee and i tried the el salvadorian pour over, they use a flat cone that gives the coffee more body, the barista did a circle pour from the outside to the inside for the bloom, stirred for agitation and for the second pour they used a melo dripper, which i appreciate and you dont really see too often, plus i like watching the water droplets slowly hit. the coffee itself was a pungent floral with sweet juiciness and a finish reminiscent of yemeni beans that have this cocoa red wine after taste, very well crafted. the staff is super kind and the space is that cold modern wood and cool tones juxtaposed by a color changing neon sign and late 2010s hip hop, very chill vibe.

Great spot and delicious coffee. One of the only places that will actually make an espresso tonic. They roast most of the beans you'll see at other third wave coffee shops in the valley. Baristas are fast but it's a good place to hang out if you have a minute.

I think when I have coffee I want my taste buds full of sugar and the caffeine surging through my veins. So my vanilla latte was a little disappointing. However I love the decor, service was good, and i love the brewery coffee shop vibes. My friends lllove it. Its a little more dim compared to other shops so its a vibe for sure. Lots of parking outside. Pretty llimited seating of 5 small tables and 5 bar seats. Not great for big group studies, but small groups or individual is fine. Menu for lattes, teas, and coffees are pretty straightforward and basic. They dont overcomplicate the menu. They have some baked goods as well and a lot of merch. I did buy some kombucha to go to give it a try. Dont know when I'll try them to udpate the review but the buch is a fermented tea. I got the dry hop pear, hibiscus ginger, and bloom (blueberry, lavendar chamomile). Their cold brew is highly praised and you can get SO MANY TYPES. So if I was a bigger coffee fanatic, id probably be obsessed.

Stumbled upon Dark moon while in the area. Decided to drop in and grab a Matcha Latte. The ambiance was pretty quiet, with dim lighting. Definitely had a chill vibe. The baristas there were nice, friendly, and helpful. My hot Matcha latte came in this cute to go cup and was only $5.50. Great price compared to other baristas. I look forward to come back next time with a book and relax while I try one of the many different coffee or cold brew options :)

I got a Panamanian pour over and it was maybe the worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. This is an honest review. The coffee was served luke warm and tasted like watered down barley tea. I typically drink my coffee black, sometimes I use a half packet of stevia. The barista explained pour overs were served without sweeteners or cream. After the first sip and realizing I didn't like it, I asked for stevia. She explained they weren't allowed to give sweeteners with pour overs. I don't really understand how a coffee place can dictate to someone how they can drink their coffee??? I ended up using a small amount of stevia I found in my purse, it didn't help. After about 3 sips I told her she could take it away I wasn't going to drink it. She asked if I ever had pour over before. We take coffee seriously in our house and have an entire coffee station to make everything from drips, pour overs, and espresso drinks at home, but I like to try coffee places on the weekends and relax. She noticed I put a little stevia in it and said, that's why they don't recommend sweeteners. I was like, it was awful before the stevia I was just trying to make it tolerable and couldn't. I wasn't mean and kinda laughed when I explained that I wasn't going to torture myself over a $7 cup of coffee and force myself to drink it. She wasn't rude either and it's not her fault the coffee was terrible and the water temp set isn't high enough. And in the baristas defense, she did offer me a refund or asked if I'd like something else without me even asking. I ended up leaving with a to go drip, which while nothing extraordinary was far better than the pour over. I felt bad and put $2 in the tip container and left. The place was empty and I understand why now, and it has nothing to do with it being in a tucked away location.

Was in the area looking for a coffee shop and came across Dark Moon. It's in a plaza that's not too busy so plenty of parking. Have never been to the shop but I feel like I have seen their brand somewhere! When you walk in it's kinda dark. Has limited seating and most people inside were studying/working. They do make their own coffee and you can watch them grinding in the back. The menu is small and they have a few pastries. My daughter ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte & Croissant. I had asked the girl for recommendations but all she did was point to the menu. Not sure if she understood but I ordered a Honey Latte. We were lucky to find a table in the corner. The store has a good selection of merch but just wished there were pricing. Our order was brought to our table and I like that they use different glassware to serve their drinks. The croissant wasn't anything special just a plain one. My latte was good, could taste the honey but more of the espresso which is what I like. My daughter liked her iced latte. I wish I could remember where I've seen their canned drinks and bagged coffees!

I was in the area and saw that they roast their own coffee beans. I stopped by to buy a bag of coffee and ended with the Nova Blend. That was an amazing bag of coffee. They use a blend of natural and washed beans (natural beans are really special and give a slight fermented berry like flavor) The tasting notes were spot on with a chocolatey berry flavor and was just what I wanted. I went back on my last day to pick up a 5 lb bag of the Nova Blend.. that's how good it is!

This is one of my favorite roasters in town, and I want to love this place but...the vibe in the actual shop is, at best okay and, at worst, sucks. It's not a warm or friendly environment that makes you want to go back. Also, I think that it's pretenious to not put sugar and cream out and refuse it when customers ask. If I pay $7 for coffee, lemme freaking drink the way I want. Or if you want to outright refuse a side of cream to customers, don't buy a glass door fridge that shows you have gallons of half and half on hand.

We just love Dark Moon! The staff is beyond amazing, welcoming and friendly!! This time I decided to try their chocolate latte, my husband came back for their dirty chai latte, he just loves it. My chocolate latte was very tasty and very chocolatey. It tastes more dark chocolate, which I prefer myself. We also saw a super cool growler that we just had to have, we had them fill it with cold brew coffee, can't wait to try it! I highly recommend this coffee shop to any coffee lover!!

Overall I was pretty happy with this coffee shop-a local staple in vegas. They have a pretty decent size menu with unique findings you may not find elsewhere. Very small indoor dining space so it's probably best you take your coffee to go.
