We have been to Marssa several times since we moved to Lake Las Vegas in 2017 and have always had a great experience. The last 2 times we have been the sushi was better than anything we've ever had on the strip. The shrimp duo roll is amazing! Kudos to the new sushi chef and staff for a true 5 star experience!

Marssa restaurant should update the online menu. The menu offers less than half the choices listed on the website and it was a huge disappointment. I would not had stayed at this property being that the date night planned was kind of ruined since the menu had no crab stuffed salmon or the lamb chops my husband and I had our stomachs set for. We settled and spent our money since everything is so far and it was 8pm so we were hungry but this was a huge let down that could've easily been avoided.

Very good steak and sushi. Comes with a compound butter and chimichurri for added flavor. Steak was also super tender. One of the best I have had so far

The food was timely, well prepared, tasty and the portions were generous. The service was great. The beverage selection was vast too. I highly recommend as one of the best spots in the Vegas area.

Marssa sent us a text 1 hour before our reservation time of 6pm on a Saturday night stating that they would not be open that night! They apparently had staffing issues and I find it incredible for a restaurant of this caliber to not have adequate staff to fill in when needed.

Food was great. Service was ridiculously slow but friendly and disarmingly smiling.

Eh.Waiter was very cool and did the best he could (but it was kind of sad) - there wasn't a lot of wait staff.Sushi showed up without wasabi and ginger, which was beyond annoying and stupid. And it tasted kind of frozen, thawed out and soggy-ish. Salad and things without meat or seafood, were all good.Mochi ice cream was gross, cheap, and disgusting. And they kept dropping plates in the kitchen. Noisy bast*rds.

It had been some time since our guests and my wife and I dined at Marssa. Prior to going I checked the menu that the restaurant had posted online. It menu items looked attractive: Lamb Chops, Duck, Salmon, Stuffed Salmon etc etc. However when we arrived and checked out the "real" menu, most of the items that sounded appetizing to us were no longer offered. The menu has been narrowed down to be regular hotel restaurant food and a lot of sushi items (great if that is what you came for). The prices were $$$$ and all al a carte. Our server was good and attentive.

The service was excellent! I saw on the menu they had a sushi roll with a chimichurri sauce. The server gave me a sample and I put it on the cucumbers that came with the sashimi. It was delicious!

Had dinner here during our stay and really enjoyed the sushi with nice views in the background. Sushi was fresh as well as tasty, and Edamame had the right amount of spice to it. Also, the drinks were on point and service was excellent.

We had dinner here Saturday night. The way the restaurant is set up the sunsets on the other side of the hotel so you get to look upon the lake and the house is across the way with the sun bearing down on them very beautiful. This restaurant is inside the Westin hotel in beautiful lake Las Vegas, on this night, we shared a couple rolls. I had the ribeye and we had really good desserts. Service was very good. I would definitely come back.

During our staycation we had dinner one night at the fine dining option in the Westin, Marssa. This is a Japanese / Steakhouse fusion restaurant that over looks Lake Las Vegas. As you look out the sun sets on the other side of the Westin so you get a nice look of the sun hitting the lake and homes across the way. We were fortunate enough to have two people wait on us, a trainer and trainee. This made for a perfect anything we needed seating. You can order the specialty cocktails off the menu or you can basically order anything since the hotel bar is right above which makes the options pretty open to your imagination. We started with a eel roll and honey walnut shrimp for our appetizers. Both of these were quite good. For our entrees I ordered the rib eye which was tasty but very thin and a side of chicken fried rice. Where she ordered wok plate with a California roll on the side. Everything was very good to this point. For dessert we ordered malasadas and chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Both of these hit the spot. I think this restaurant is good but what you get for what you pay seems to be a bit off but that's fine dining in a resort hotel. Btw on a Saturday night I don't think they reached 50% full capacity during our meal.

Amazing restaurant. Next to the water, watched a beautiful sunset. The food very good. Cheers to the staff!! Bryan was our server and he took very good care of us. He was very nice and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful meal!!

It was just kind of there there wasn't much exciting about the meal. The ribeye was kind of surprising that it was just a really thin flat steak and the truffle mashed potatoes came out ice cold. Was expecting more for charging on strip prices and for what you actually got. I guess I went in with low expectations with a three and a half star rating already. But it just wasn't any kind of a wow memorable experience.

They are understaffed in dining room and kitchen, plan an hour from the time your seated until you will eat and that is in a half empty restaurant. Views are pretty and food is good, but not worth the wait.
