Jersey diner sushi spot outside of Vegas. Sounds like a joke or a novelty restaurant but this is a top shelf omakase destination. I've been twice and both were flawless deliciousness

The food is delicious and high quality and what you would find at a family restaurant in Japan. My Japanese family members love coming here with me and it's one of my favorite places in town! The staff are always wonderful and the atmosphere is always comfortable! Great local find!

Everything was prepared well and tasted great. No online reservations at this time. We arrived at 5:00p, and it was filled by 6:15p on a Friday night. Service was very attentive. The building has a ventilation issue, as soon as we walked in, there is a heavy and prevalent burnt oil scent that is impossible to not notice (like old deep fryer oil). The music overhead is a bit funky (think of a 1970's TV detective shows (Kojak, Streets of SFO, Dragnet, etc) type of soundtracks; however it is muted. There is a variety of seating, a large bar, many booths, and some tables making it larger inside than it appears from outside. But it filled up fast (1/2 hour), and some were waiting when we left.Food Portions are good. Tempura Shrimp were excellent and fresh oil was used on it and all other tempura we ordered. Put your tempura orders together, and they will come out at the same time. This food is a cut above however both in preparation and presentation. Edamame was large and salted perfect. Our Salmon collar steak (pictured) was large and had fantastic seared flavor. Take a look at the online menu (ZMenu) and you will see a great variety here. This is not simply a Sushi Roll shop and offer some very expensive Kobe and Sashimi offerings. The Roll menu is a bit smallish, however the Tokyo Boys Roll and Dragon Roll (both pictured) were very tasty and filling. I found the Grilled Eel to be super tasty here. Food always arrived promptly. They have a good wine and beer menu.Expect to pay about 33% more for your orders however, than you would at say "Momo" restaurant which is only a block away. It is not a white table cloth establishment however. I would certainly come back again to try more, however my wife was especially sensitive to the prevalent deep fryer oil smell that was in the air. For that and a couple of other small things I am removing one star.

I wasn't expecting this to be a very good sushi place. The food tastes like Japan. I am not a foodie at all, but I loved so much that my date noticed a difference in my reaction the moment i took a bite.

The food was mediocre at best. They call themselves fine dining and we were sat in a booth with ripped seats. The price were set for fine dining. The salmon was not of the best quality. The udon soup was udon noodles in miso broth. This place looks like it was formerly a Bobs Big Boy and in think I would have had a better meal if it still was. There are much better Sushi options just up the street.

Fabulous! The sushi was very fresh and perfectly made. The service was friendly and top notch. We had the California Roll, Banzai Roll and the Japanese Lasagna. We will be back!

I'm in Henderson for work and was lucky enough to find Tokyo Boys.I didn't know what to expect and walking up seeing a 50's style diner exterior I knew it had to be good.I was wrong. It was outstanding, so much so that I came back the next night.Great service! Amazingly beautiful sushi with crazy flavor. It's definitely on my hit list for my next stop in town.Thank you!

Service was great however. Orders Miso Cod and got a piece 2" x 3" that was thinly sliced. Most restaurants you get a good thick piece. And it doesn't even come with rice or soup. $16 for this. Please. Also menu pictures so 2 thick pieces not the wafer thin one I got. Talk about cutting corners. Last visit for me.

Great customer service and sashimi very fresh. I came in for dinner and $26 for great quality sushi was the cherry on top on my dining experience at Tokyo Boys.

The sushi was very good. The soft shell crab had a strong fishy taste that didn't sit too well with me. The curry was very good as well. I would recommend this place for anyone to try.

Omakase meal was of very good quality. Service was pleasant. Ambiance was a bit odd as this was formerly a diner- which also made it easy to find. Definitely worth checking out if you can.
