Small but cute little sushi place tucked in a corner on valle verde. They aren't on any food delivery service yet so that's why I hadn't gone yet. But looked at reviews and decided to give it a shot. You can call ahead and order for pickup which we LOVED for date night. They had our order ready to go when we arrived. Food was fresh and I have to say the quality of their fish is amazing. This is our new takeout sushi date night option!

We were their first customers just after they opened! We figured that might be the best way to really get everything FRESH Everything was delicious! I do wish it was a slightly larger portion of the vegetable tempura, but nonetheless, it was lovely. We made a couple of small requests with the rolls, and they hit every one correctly, so that's always a plus as well. For my personal liking: the tofu got way too soft after soaking for a little bit in the broth, but it is advertised as a soft tofu, so that is to be expected. Also, we had trouble with the rolls falling apart really easily. Not sure if they weren't just rolled as tight as they should have been, or maybe the rice wasn't as sticky as it needed to be, but the flavor was still there. Overall, we will definitely be back. The food was delicious, the service was kind and quick, and the general ambiance was welcoming and comfortable. The space itself is a tad small, but I feel like it allows them to really make sure their customer service and speed of service is on point.

Loved this place! It's pretty small, so be prepared to wait at peak times. Despite the wait, it was well worth it with great choices, friendly staff and very good quality sushi. I ordered hamachi, scallop and a roll wrapped in cucumber rather than rice. All were very fresh and tasty. I will definitely go back!

Best sushi I've had in Vegas. The blue mermaid is my personal favorite it has spicy tuna shrimp tempura and bluefin tuna on top it's so freaking good. Everything is always so fresh even when I order takeout. They package beautifully as well. I also love that it's a small intimate restaurant. They don't have a lot of seating and do not offer all you can eat so I've experienced great customer service and good quality food every single time.

The service is super friendly and I love the dine-in, bar service, and take out options.My usual is the Jesty Salmon with seaweed instead of soy paper. Went to Toro for lunch this time and, as always, it was delicious. The place was busy just as it is for dinner time. My starter was the spicy yellowtail.
