This place gets really packed because the food is absolutely amazing. I try to come on off hours so I don’t have to wait. The employees are very friendly and work very hard. By far the best sushi place in Northern Tahoe.Sometimes I see people get frustrated for the long wait. But that’s what happens when you go to a delicious restaurant. So if you don’t like lines, try to come at different times.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian appetizers and rolls that are actually very deliciousParking: Most people try to park right out out front of the restaurant however, the parking lot is long and you could find parking on the other side, which is a very small walk to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have kid friendly menuWheelchair accessibility: There are ramps to the sidewalk where the entrance of the restaurant is

Great place to have sushi and rolls. It was really delish and reasonable priced. The waiter speaks softly and politely at all times. In fact, the food was so good, one of the guests kept on praising the chef and walked to the bar to thank him and his crew ?

The food was excellent. We arrived around 5pm and were promptly seated. Our drinks order was asked for as we were sitting down. When the water came back within a couple of minutes, we were asked for our dinner order but needed a few more minutes. The food came out quickly and was all delicious and fairly priced, given the season and location.Throughout our dining, a constant stream of people were turning up. It's a very popular restaurantBy 5.50pm, we'd just about eaten everything and were swallowing the last mouthfuls when we were presented with the cheque without an offer of the dessert menu etc. The whole experience was very rushed and we consider ourselves quick diners as we have a little one to get to bed.If you're looking for good food, I can recommend it. ???Kid-friendliness: High chairs available

Prepare to embark on a culinary journey that will transcend the boundaries of your taste buds and elevate your senses to unprecedented heights! Koi Sushi, a haven of gastronomic excellence, is not just a restaurant; it is a symphony of flavors that will transport you to a realm of unparalleled delight!Let me regale you with the tale of my recent encounter with the culinary maestros at Koi Sushi. From the moment I stepped through the ethereal doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere that spoke of centuries-old culinary mastery blended seamlessly with modern elegance. The ambiance alone whispered promises of an extraordinary dining experience. As I perused the menu, my eyes widened with anticipation, but little did I know that what awaited me was a vegetarian feast that would redefine my perception of Japanese cuisine. The star of the evening was, undoubtedly, the vegetarian udon. Each delectable slurp transported me to a state of bliss, as the perfectly cooked noodles danced in a broth that seemed to have been concocted by culinary wizards. The edamame, a seemingly simple dish, revealed itself as a work of art. The vibrant green pods, lightly salted to perfection, were a testament to the chef's dedication to enhancing even the most humble of ingredients. Each bite was a revelation, a burst of freshness that awakened my taste buds in ways I never thought possible. And let us not forget the green tea—an elixir of tranquility that flowed freely, soothing my senses and harmonizing with the symphony of flavors unfolding before me. The precision with which it was brewed reflected the commitment of Koi Sushi to authenticity and excellence. But it wasn't just the food that left an indelible mark on my soul; it was the impeccable service and the attention to detail that elevated this dining experience to celestial heights. The staff at Koi Sushi are not mere servers; they are culinary ambassadors, guiding you through a gastronomic odyssey with grace and expertise. In conclusion, Koi Sushi is not just a restaurant; it is a sacred space where culinary dreams come true. If you seek an otherworldly experience that transcends the mundane, a pilgrimage to Koi Sushi is not just recommended—it is essential. Prepare to be enchanted, enthralled, and utterly captivated by the gastronomic wonders that await you at this culinary sanctuary!

We did the all you can eat option. The nigiri was very good. There was a good ratio of fish to rice. Most places try to fill you up with rice, but this place was very generous with the fish. The service was also really good.
