I love Thai Recipe! My roommates and I go at least every other week, it's our favorite place in Incline. There are so many options for vegans/vegetarians and everything I've tried has been delicious. The service is excellent and super quick, and everyone who works there is so friendly! The lunch special is especially great; only $11 for a lot of food. 10/10 recommend Thai Recipe!

Great food in small place in Incline village. Spicy food hits the spot on a cold snowy day.Decent service. We tried Tom Yum Soup which was super good, really good balance of spice, sour and sweet. Jungle vegetables with a tofu was great too.

Very bad experience. Extremely slow service. The employees here don't know what they are doing at all. There's a long line waiting at the door. We're at the first but waited one hour to be seated. There are a lot of people leaving but the staff don't clean up the tables. After finishing the tables, they didn't arrange guests to sit down.

Food was good. Generous portions. I don't know if they run this restaurant with only this amount (3) of staff all the time, but we were there for an exceptional amount of time. We arrived at 5:30pm (party of 5) and I left at 9pm to take my niece home (11 yo who frell asleep at the table) while the rest of the party stayed to take care of bill and get the leftovers. I was envious of the many customers that came in and picked up their orders to go. Like I said, food was good, but from here on out, it's call in the order and takeout for me...and I do recommend the restaurant.

The flavors at this Thai restaurant truly stand out, offering a genuinely delicious experience for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine. However, the service leaves much to be desired, with an incredibly slow pace in serving dishes that can test one's patience. Despite the service shortcomings, the exceptional taste of the meals makes it worth revisiting. If you're in pursuit of remarkable Thai flavors and can overlook some service delays, this place still merits a return visit.

I visited Thai Recipe with a group of friends in December, and we were honestly shocked with how bad the service was. I ordered a *Chicken* Pad Se-Iew, and when we eventually got our food, they gave me a beef Pad Se-Iew. Nobody else at our table had ordered a Pad See-Iew. I brought this up to the waitress, who then asked if I had any of it. I said I had some, because I didn't want them to serve another table this dish that already came to our table. It was really apparent that they wanted to cut corners. My friend's Masaman curry had large chunks of onion in it, when the onion is usually supposed to be caramelized/sauteed and not noticeable. The curry had too much peanut sauce in it. As an appetizer, we ordered a fried tofu dish. This was unfortunately really dry and bland. Now comes the *worst* part of the service: Three of my friends ordered curries (green curry, masaman curry, and evil jungle recipe). Each come with rice. However, when the rice was given with the bowls of curry, they brought out 1 bowl of rice. We were told by the server that this was 2 orders of rice and that he would be bringing out one more order of rice. After waiting for a while without getting that third rice order, we asked the waitress if we could have that third bowl of rice since only two came with the bowls of curry. She later brought a bowl of rice. When paying, she charged us for the extra rice and insisted that the initial bowl was 3 servings of rice and that the server was incorrect. She then brought me an empty bowl and gestured how this was the size of one rice. I think this was extremely unprofessional since she threw her server under the bus, and was really disrespectful to my group. All over a bowl of rice. Overall, this was subpar Thai food and I'd recommend elsewhere. It may seem authentic to some, but comparing this to other Thai restaurants in the SF Bay Area, LA, and SD, this restaurant was disappointing.

I have mixed feelings about this place, which perhaps could be because of the food quality consistency and their large menu containing some items that are frankly not that good. However, with there not being so many options in town, we did give them another chance and have compiled a list of the best dishes to order (based on our preferences of course):Seafood Pot (best eaten there as it’s glass noodles with seafood in a delicious sauce served in a cast iron pot), Amazing Eggplant (deep fried large pieces of eggplant that come with a tasty peanut dipping sauce), Pumpkin Curry (I’ve only ever had it with chicken and the curry itself is delicious). That being said, I wouldn’t order their Pad Thai as it was sweet and didn’t have much flavor and the Green and Red Thai Curry dishes left a lot to be desired.
