Local here. I’ve been coming to this place and Big Wong for affordable wonton noodles. since Big Wong close down, it seems like this is the only place left that has decent wonton noodle. They not only raise the price (ok inflation I got it), but they add a “Support Local fee” on the screen which transfer to “credit card fee” on the receipt.2 basic bowls of noodle turn to almost $40 with tips. That’s ridiculous, that’s CA pricing!Foods served without any condiments to twist the taste as the common Chinese restaurant. If you can cook, you will probably find disappointment here.

Fish congee was delicious! Service was great also!

Very solid Chinese comfort food. Everything was authentic. Wonton noodles and fish congee with Chinese doughnut really hit the spot. Curry roti has a bit of kick. The HK lemon tea was superb. All this food while enjoying some classic Jacky Cheung in the background. I had a great meal and experience. No pics, we ate everything without any thought of pics. Its the kind of food that, iykyk.

The pork in congee is not fresh but seasoned extremely salty. They also auto charge 15% tip but service is poor. If you pay with credit card there's also 2.5% convenience fee just be aware.

Went in with my partner to have lunch and the restaurant was pretty empty and now I know why. It’s a pretty shady place. The food was decent not super spicy for Mongolian Beef and the noodles were good but the customer service was horrendous. No one checked on us during our time eating. Ran out of water and no refills and then they charge a service fee without notifying you in the beginning. Due to this we did not tip as they technically included the tip. When we go home we noticed the credit card transaction where they decided to add more on to our bill to give themselves a large tip. This is unlawful! Our $48 bill ended up going to $58. Definitely will be calling in the morning to address this issue but due to this I do not recommend this restaurant. They only care about the money and will try to get whatever they can out of you.

I tried shrimp & Pork wonton and beef stew with rice noodle. It was the best Chinese noodle I have had in Las Vegas. Of course the milk tea is also awesome. It really like what we have in Hong Kong. It is a must try noodle restaurant when you visit Las Vegas.

The food is good. Highly recommend the Hainan chicken rice and wonton. The Hainan chicken is tender and delicious. It doesn’t taste exactly like the Singapore ones but a very good chicken indeed. Wontons are big and filled with shrimps. In terms of service…it was ok. They got my order wrong and looked really pissed when I corrected them. The owner/manager especially looked very angry as if it was my fault. But whatever, the food was good so I’d continue to go!

Quick Review:It's a noodle joint but also feels like an HK cafe. All around decent place and would probably feel home/satisfy most Southern Chinese taste palettes for food, drink, and atmosphere. Downside is that the portions are on the smaller side, it's quite pricey, and no refills for drinks. Background:I'm from LA native (SGV region) that likes to come to Vegas a lot and China Town in the last few years has been stepping its game up (more like an Asian District now)More familiar franchises and mom-pop shops popping up, and closer to home standards now.Initial Experience:For 88 Noodle Papa, I think this is relatively new & not a franchise. I came to LV with my family this time & wanted them to explore the new businesses popping up in the growing China Town. My dad is really picky with his HK style milk tea and from the food and milk tea pics, I thought it had potential. As we walk inside, there is 80s-90s Cantopop playing, many songs I recognize and that already created a familiar atmosphere/gets a thumbs up from me. We came in around opening time so initially there was only one guest here aside from us, but later more guests came in, and no surprise, they were all Cantonese speaking. The staff was cool with us adjusting some of our orders and answering our questions. I'd say if you're familiar with Chinese restaurants, it's roughly that same level of service but a bit more polite. You won't get staff checking on you, but if you flag them down, they'll come over as soon as they can.Food and Drinks:As a HK Milk Tea connoisseur myself, I gotta say, I love the sugar cubes and I think they did a solid job on the hot milk tea. It's not the most amazing, but if this place was in SGV, I'd say the milk tea would place average-above average which by no means, means it's just okay. There is a very high standard in the SGV when it comes to tea and so many tea serving places. My brother got the iced milk tea, SIL ice lemon tea, mom had the hot yinyeung, and no complaints from anyone so it's solid. The food was a bit more mixed. The wontons were very good, had enough flavor and the soup and noodles looked good. I think solid wonton noodle soup.I got the Sichuan spicy beef noodles, and it was much lighter in flavor than expected and did not seem have the Sichuan feel. It was closer to Taiwanese beef noodles but watered down. The beef wasn't prepped/marinated well enough or at least what I expected it should taste like, and it wasn't really spicy or had that spice flavor you would expect for Sichuanese food. I kinda expected it to not be very spicy or "spiced", since this place had more of a Southern Chinese/HK vibe and menu selection and spicy food is not really a forte. This felt like a below average dish. The House Chicken Noodles were good. It's a very basic dish so I wouldn't expect deep complex flavors: The chicken had chicken flavor and wasn't overcooked either, but as it was chicken breast meat/lean meat it wasn't particularly juicy/tender; and the soup had chicken flavor (sounds redundant it's so easy to not have it). Overall it's like a very light and basic dish that captured the elements. Would say it's okay for general dining, great if you're feeling sick or yeet hay; or need a "recovery food"Hainan Chicken Rice is similar to the chicken noodles. Flavors are lighter and there's no choice of light/dark meat. So more light meat which is usually rougher/tougher. The rice wasn't seasoned as strongly as other places. It has the essence of what you would want from the Chicken Rice dish, but flavors were a bit too mild. I'd put it slightly below average; maybe average if you aren't into heavy flavors but still want the flavors.I didn't try my SIL spicy seafood noodle or my niece's rice porridge, but the rice porridge looked good from the grain/liquid consistency. I think it's gonna be fairly standard fair; only differentiator is how well they did the toppings. Lik

I like going to noodle papa for soup. It's cold nowadays so it's very convenient for me to go there and get a bowl of soup as it is so satisfying. The service is great. The waiters are very attentive there and the food is good. The soup is good no complaints it's a casual restaurant so you can dress how you want to. It gets full so easily as it is very popular with tourists. It's a very small restaurant sometimes you have to wait until there's a vacant table for your party.
