Great food, great service! This place is a hidden gem and local favorite not to miss! Do search YouTube for Let's Eat Vegas and you'll see a review that I can confirm all that he liked - but you'll see more that'll make Amlee become your favorite go to.

We got takeout, I forgot to take a picture but definitely will next time. They had fried prawns. They were the size of half of your palm! They were huge and juicy with a light crispy tempura batter that shattered like glass when you bit into it. The broccoli beef that was recommended by the server was the most tender I've ever seen beef. The broccoli that was with it was also tender with a tiny bite to it. And the sauce was so yummy I could have a glass of it. We also ordered shrimp fried rice and it wasn't showered in soy sauce, instead it had a very light soy sauce flavor and additional packets to add to it. It tasted like those Chinese restaurants you ate from when you were a kid. The shrimp chow mein was also really delicious because the noodles weren't oily or too chewy, instead they were chewy just enough. We also ordered egg rolls and the egg rolls were nicely fried they were full of chicken unlike the ones that have barely filling inside. We got a peach tea and a mango tea. Being a tea connoisseur as you know those teas were also definitely one of the best ones. They were very lightly sweet, and for both of them you could taste the fresh peaches and the mangos with a slight floral note to them. Definitely our top Chinese restaurant!

This is a cozy Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall with about 20 tables. We were able to get a reservation for 11 on a Saturday night. The architecture and decor are dated, but it's welcoming for the most part. We started with the bbq pork, they had hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce for it. The hot mustard was good. The sweet and sour was okay. I wish they had sesame seeds on the side, but in the preparation here they were already on the pork. For the meal we had both pork fried rice and chicken fried rice both of which were good but not great. We got both orange chicken and orange beef. Both were flavorful and slightly spicy. We also had Mongolian beef, very good, good spice. Someone accidentally ate a red pepper and was overwhelmed with spice. I asked for the rest of the red peppers. Also black pepper beef. This sauce was so good! It included bell peppers and onion. Definite recommend. Finally we had the whole reason we came. Almond Chicken. We moved here from Washington state and hadn't yet had Almond Chicken like we're used to. It was so good. The breading on the chicken was perfect. The sauce/gravy was a little thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was on point. This was our first trip here, but definitely not the last.

We stopped by for lunch and tried their Mongo Beef lunch special: We've been here a few times since far but the Mongolian Beef is our favorite. The Beef is very tender and it's not heavily sauced or too sweet. I just saw a YouTuber showcase this restaurant on one of his videos. The few items that we need to try from the A La Carte menu are the pressed duck and the Egg Foo Young which looked really good on the YouTube video, The service is good here and prompt especially during lunch time.

Stopped by Amlee Chinese Cuisine for a late lunch. The lunch rush was finished, so there were only a few tables of people. I made it before 3pm when the lunch specials end. While the building is older, the restaurant itself is clean and the wait staff is always nice. I got one of the lunch specials that includes the entree, egg roll, soup of the day and choice of steamed or egg fried rice. The food tasted great and the prices are still reasonable. Definitely worth stopping for lunch!

the service & atmosphere are perfectly nice. it's the food that screams NOT GOURMET & NOT WORTH IT. so i would NOT recommend this place. there's nothing they serve that you cant get elsewhere in the city and at a much better price.

im giving this place 2 stars, those stars are for the good service & the environment/atmosphere. the servers were very polite and accomodating & the atmosphere was very nice & serene. calm vibes. easy music in the background. those 2 things were top of the line. but lets be honest, we don't go out to eat for those 2 reasons. we go for the food FIRST. the rest is just an extra bonus or an extra headache depending, right? the food alone is way overpriced and doesnt taste anything like gourmet chinese. if it is a reflection of gourmet chinese then id rather stick with street chinese food. the prices and the taste of the food were both terrible. its a strong NO for me.

We were told this place was the best. So when we went in and saw the basic looking place we were like ok nothing to special in the ambiance. Orders start being filled and for starters we get the Thai Tea... soooo yummy ?. Then we wanted almost all the appetizers so we got the platter with egg rolls, prawns (headless shrimp ?), pork, and shrimp puffs. Delicious. Then we moved on to the main course Amlee Fried Rice and Beef and fried noodles. Absolutely Spectacular. This here was melt in your mouth Delicious ? ?. They even gave us orange slices at the end. I Love that attention to detail. Absolute 10 out of 10.Our server was a sweet older woman that gave us great suggestions. I can't wait to go back again.

I’m from Los Angeles and I came to Las Vegas this weekend for a birthday trip had the restaurant Tao one night and the next night I was still craving Chinese/Japanese food I went in Uber eats and found Amlee’s GOURMET Chinese food and when they said gourmet they did not disappoint. I was nervous of course ordering for the first time but I’m so happy I went with it the food came and it looked just the picture first plus. The Mongolian beef comes with white rice and it was SOOO flavorful! The General tao chicken was amazing and the fried rice was also great! Everything was good I had to go back the next day to get more before heading home to LA. Mongolian beef was so good had to the that again and then I got the sweet and sour shrimp it was sooooo good HUGE pieces of shrimp. The inside was very nice they have a full bar definitely going to be sitting in on my next Vegas visit. I thought I didn’t have something in my bag went back in the lovely women Maria assured me she put in my bad I went and double checked she was indeed correct and before I could even get back to the door to go inside and tell her I had it I turned around and she was at the door making sure it had it. Sooo sooo sweet such good customer service wished me a safe trip home as the rain as been bad in LA this week. All that to say please try this place it won’t disappoint!!

I finally found Almond fried chicken in Vegas and it was delicious! Amlee Chinese Cuisine was a awesome throwback to 1980s Chinese food! The honey walnut shrimp are large and very tasty. The orange chicken was good but a tad salty and the Almond fried chicken was excellent. The gravy on the side was good too! Lunch specials included fried rice, 1 eggroll and egg drop soup, all of which were good. Great value for $12. The HWS wasnt a lunch special. I'll definitely be back to try some other dishes along with the Almond fried chicken. The staff was friendly and prompt. Easy parking right out front off sunset and pecos.
