We were lucky to walk in and be able to eat at the bar without a reservation.Food and drinks were great !Bar tender was attentive and friendly.Would recommend booking in advance for a more comfortable eating experience.Great first honeymoon dinner in vegas.Kid-friendliness: Not quite child friendly, more for adults to relax and enjoy

If it’s a Tao brand spot, you can count on it to be consistent, delicious, and include amazing service. We stopped in here as our last dinner before leaving the city and wish we had tried it sooner! We had the grilled cheese dumplings, the French dip sandwiches, the ravioli, and topped it off with the praline cookie. It was all so good! The plates came out fast and were served tapas style so we were able to try multiple different things. Service here was phenomenal, they had great recommendations and they had your water refilled after even a sip. Prices were fair by Vegas standards and it was a cool spot that felt unique being hidden behind the pawn shop. Really enjoyed this spot and felt like it was on par with the other Tao group restaurants!

To start, for most other restaurants this would be a 5 star meal. But this is one of the highest rated and decently accessible fine dining establishments in Vegas and my expectations were in line with that. I'm disappointed to say it was underwhelming. The Good:The service was impeccable, absolutely on par with fine dining. We were celebrating a birthday and everyone from the hostess to our bussers and even the manager knew it, and made sure to offer well wishes. The restaurant itself was beautiful, interesting but not over the top and I love the speakeasy like entrance. Our lamb was perfectly cooked, we got the chef recommended medium rare and we were very happy we did. The ahi tuna in the tacos was also perfect.Everything was presented beautifully, and portion size was good. Nothing too miniscule. The birthday cake pop dessert was very very good. A flourless chocolate cake with ganache, served with whipped cream. It was honestly the best item of the night and I was so full I didn't eat a while one. This cake should be on the menu. The Decent:Their grilled cheese spoons are the signature app for a reason. They are very good. The presentation, while fun and eye catching, was difficult to eat. It's impossible to get the entire spoonful at once and that leaves a decent amount of tomato soup to eat without the balance of the cheese and bacon. And it's very sweet without those things. Actual shots would be easier to consume, but obviously not as striking visually. The bone marrow was good, onion jam was lovely, grilled bread was great. Solid dish, not amazing.Strawberry shortcake shots were lovely, well presented, yummy, solid with out being exceptional. The Meh:The lamb chop was, again, perfectly cooked, a decent portion but the polenta was not complementary. It was creamy and well made but overwhelmingly rosemary, which I normally am a big fan of. There was no balance. The ahi tacos/wantons are slightly small and you absolutely need to add a squeeze of the lime in order to have a balanced bite. The asparagus side was not bad, the preserved lemon was a welcome twist, but my goodness, they must not trim the stalks at all. I should absolutely not bite into the end of one and not make it through because of how woody and fibrous they are. I wasn't able to eat at least an inch, if not more, from any piece. That is completely unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. The drinks on the signature menu were so very sweet. I asked about a couple of them and went for the one that was described as much less sweet, almost like a martini, and it was still so syrupy, I didn't finish it. This is a personal preference in drinks so I have to say that the others in my party found the drinks fine, but if the other drink I was thinking about was much sweeter, I can't even imagine how sweet it was.All in all, it was a fun evening and not sad about it, but for this type of price point and caliber of dining, they need to step their game up.Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to allergies and restrictions and make sure to double check with you throughout your meal.

Don't recommend the ravioli but every thing else was excellent. The server was great and she can describe my dinner to me every night. Never gotten my drinks so fast in my life and they were well crafted. French dip and blue cheese New York strip were absolutely delicious. Did not try dessert. Vibe was perfect.

He has more fame than he deserves. The food is good, but the portions are small. It's always full. And the ideal is to make a reservation in advance.

Until now we’ve looked forward to the next visit. The service is always great however the quality of food, especially the gluten free options, has declined. For example, the scallops are usually fantastic but the latest iteration was ruined by an overpowering butternut squash purée.

Only went for drinks at the bar. The place is packed when we arrive but we managed to get seating for four. The drinks were pricey but all very good. The staff is very friendly but the orders did take a while to arrive. The food menu looks amazing and I would absolutely go back for a meal.

We loved everything about our beauty & Essex experience. The service was wonderful from the time we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly and since it was many in our parties’ first time, they explained how we could share courses, gave recommendations and even told us a good number of dishes to start with. We had the French dips, ravioli, Mac & cheese and lobster bao buns. They were all delicious! It was my friend’s birthday and they brought out a few cake pops and a happy birthday chocolate and we finished the meal with the Ferris wheel of options. It was all great and I’d highly recommend!

Beauty & Essex is such a fun place. We went late after the hockey game for some snacks and desserts. There were great options. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were my favourite. They were delicious. We also had yummy empanadas and mini tacos. Everything was so good. The drinks were delicious and there is so many to choose from. We had yummy donuts for dessert. We had two people with severe allergies and our server was great and made sure we were well taken care of. It is expensive but lots of fun! There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed it.
