We decided to give this resturant another try since we hadn't eaten here in a few years since right after COVID. At that time, we did not have the best experience (out of steaks, bad server, etc.), but it was nice to see on this visit that things have improved tremendously. We had reservations for 5pm and got seated immediately (we notice after about 530-600pm they got really busy for dinner). Our server, Lauren, was friendly and attentive for being very busy. The food overall was very good. The potato soup, baked potato, key lime pie, filet mignon, filet mignon tips were the best items we had (filet mignon was very tender and cooked just right as ordered). The bread and salads were just ok (salad was not fresh and crisp, and a little on the wilted side). Overall, our dining experience was very good.

Their salad & bread is nothing to like. Also for a steakhouse they cannot get the steak cooked right the first time.

We decided to bring our friends to dine at this restaurant as it is one of Tony's favorite spots, and he always raves about how special it is. The food and service did not disappoint, and we were impressed with the delicious ribeye steak and prime rib. The ambiance was perfect for a Thursday night, as it was not too crowded. Overall, we had such a great experience that we plan on coming back again!

The quality of their meats have gone down. The service was less than what I expected. The staff congregated in the kitchen, making it hard to grab their attention. My husband and I would always go to Bob Taylor's to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries over a span of twenty years. It was a place frequented by celebrities and local dignitaries.

This was on our list of steak houses to try. Very dated western theme. (I think that's the point but definitely needs some TLC). The quality of steak was average at best however I felt like we got what we paid for. The service was great and the staff friendly.

I had never been here before but was curious about the place. The location is visible from the highway I was curious to give it a try. My boyfriend and I like trying new places so we gave it a shot. It’s a unique place but it’s not kept up. The wagon outside looks like it’s from the local junk yard just like some of the bar stools they sat us on. They don’t take care of the place and it shows. They didn’t even seat us at a floor table in the bar area and there were about 5 tables readily available. They offered a bar top table with ripped up cushions instead. I guess that’s how they like to welcome their new guest. We did not have reservations so we agreed to sit wherever. The server was very nice and polite but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The calamari was served cold. The steaks were not cooked to our request and the food had little to no flavor. I cook a better steak in my air fryer with texas seasonings. My experience was less than 2 stars ⭐️I left disappointed from the food and it was overpriced. I get a steak not being perfect by request but calamari thats is served cold and probably not served at the right temperature is unforgiving.?Do your self a favor and go to another establishment where the food is better quality and it’s not over priced. When we left we pointed out all the tables that were supposedly reserved. I think this place survives off of its location because it’s off the busy highway and seems unique. Though the place is one of a kind it isn’t because of the outstanding food. It a hillbilly steak house in a residential neighborhood and has a western vibe. It felt like a family owned restaurant that is supported by loyal local patrons. I have no idea ?‍♀️ why the food was below average but for us this will be our last rodeo at the Ranch house. I’m sure the dogs will be happy with the left overs because we won’t be eating them. The staff was not so friendly besides the server and the food was barely edible to rate this place higher than 3 is hog wash.??Maybe we just went on a bad day but the place is run down.

I've been here a few times for dinner. I love the roast chicken, prime rib and stuffed mushrooms. They have a great ranch dressing. But my new addiction, and I really do crave it, is the lunch tFrench dip. Holy cow, the meat is so tender and the au jus fantastic. Insider tip, get them to add the garlic spread to the bun. I'm going to try to control myself and only give in once a month, but I'm making no promises.

They charge for each refill of just coke or ice tea and the cups are super small so it isn’t even a regular drink size you are paying for. The food is ok but you pay as much for drinks as food.

This place is an institution and been around since the late 50s, so many nostalgic happy memories were made here! BUT, it's 2024 and nothing has changed, not even the aluminum blinds. The steaks were flavorful and prepared properly but poor cuts with plenty of gristle, so chewing and chewing and chewing was necessary. I'm a huge calamari fan and acutely aware it's seafood, but it should not smell strongly fishy from the next table. And the grounds are deplorable, broken planters and trash. So keep your happy memories intact and don't do it.

Had a dinner party with 8 people tonight . Totally disappointed . 5 mistakes out of 8 orders . One meal was totally forgotten arrived 15 minutes after everyone else was about done eating , when it finally showed up the Steak was suppose to be medium and showed up to the table Rare . Super rare . So once again another wait . They send the same steak back and this time without the baked potato. So back to waiting . This person finally got there meal about 20-25 minutes after the other 7 . The cooks ruined 4 other steaks from the other people's orders . Almost a 500 dollar ticket for less than Applebees type of service and quality of food . We don't be back here . Sad thing is we started coming here in 2016 and it's just been a downhill spiral . We understand once in a while things happen . But it's becoming a trend here . We won't be back

We were here 3 years ago, coming back from Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Looking for a steakhouse away from the casinos. This jewel popped up on the phone and we headed there. Thought we were going wrong way, heading through residential area towards a fence and a divided highway. Then there it was. Four of us waltzed in like we owned the place. Except we didn't have a reservation. Whoops. But there was room at the bar, so we ordered up and had some of the best steaks ever. The bartender/waitress was very attentive and overall great. The reason it took so long to review, I couldn't find the name or anything. Today it popped up on our Facebook page as a memory. Would love to go back, just with different friends.
