Had dinner for my 40th birthday dinner here last night. My fiancé and I love a great upscale restaurant, but food and service quality always trumps that. That said, the food and service were both 10/10. Even though the decor/dress code may not meet everyone's expectations, we can't wait to come back with family/friends once we travel back to Vegas from the East Coast!!

The food was good although my steak came out well done when I asked for medium rare they were very happy to change it and do it again but by that time you know another 15 minutes goes by and my husband had already finished his meal because he couldn't let it sit and get cold They were very apologetic and bought me a glass of wine for the trouble

I loved this restaurant. The atmosphere is soothing amid the chaos of Las Vegas. Nice jazzy music, but not loud. Service was excellent. Warm breads served upon seating. I ate here three nights while staying in the hotel (waiting for movers to deliver my things to my new place here).. one of the best burgers I have ever had and the French fries were awesome too! I had the burger again another night. Had the salmon another night with a lovely beurre blanc sauce. Sooo good! I think this is a great restaurant all around and a great value. I will eat here again.

Tried this place as I read about it being an "under-rated" steak house in Vegas. That is absolutely the case. Food was outstanding; great wine selection; prompt attentive service. The ambience is nice - although I'll admit I wish there were a few more diners in the restaurant. The quality of the food and service though was outstanding, and had I had that same experience on a strip-based casino, I have little doubt that I would have paid AT LEAST a 50% premium. We really liked this place.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We both had the filets, which were delicious! Oysters were small size, which to us is most enjoyable. Nice wine list. Joseph was our server, and we enjoyed his company and his upstanding service during our meal. The staff overall was excellent! Look forward to coming back!Kid-friendliness: There were several kids in the restaurant, and the hotel in general

The food was awesome! My favorite was the grass fed filet and mashed potatoes. Reina was our server, she was very sweet and helpful with explaining the menu. Johnny was awesome as well always checking in and making sure everything came out perfectly, he recommended the grass fed filet; loved it! Everything was cooked perfectly, so shoutout to the chef as well... I believe his name was Adam? Overall, great steakhouse! This is a perfect place to have a quiet dinner. Would recommend this place

The service here was extraordinary we got great service however the food not so much. I came here based on previous reviews and how everyone had said mostly positive things. However I would like to say that next time I will try somewhere else. Now to the food, it was not great. The lobster bisque resembled nothing of the sort and the only distinct flavor I could discern was that of heavy cream which is to be expected but w lobster essence as well. The sides were ok and loaded w cream, and salt which is to be expected. The ribeye was just ok and lacked flavor that ribeye's are known for. I will probably not be going back as there is many great places on the strip to give a chance to.

I had a birthday party dinner last night with close family and friends. Ours server Luis and Jess, Johnny the manager were so pleasant and accommodating along with our bussers Ramon and Alma. It was a special occasion and they made us felt comfortable and at home. They all were personal and friendly. We completely appreciated their service, hospitality, and thank them all. The food was amazing. My husband and I had the tomahawk steak. It was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed it. The calamari was delicious light, crispy, and tender. The brussel sprouts and asparagus were delicious. We will definitely return for other occasions.

Local here....We've visited just about every high end Steakhouse in Vegas. We realized once you've had a great steak...I mean really great steak...its hard to find anything better no matter the price. The Charcoal room is our go to steakhouse. Amazing cuts and nice reasonable prices. You really can't do much better.

Foodies usually come to Palace Station for the Oyster Bar but do NOT overlook The Charcoal Room if you're a steak lover! We ordered the special of the night, a 32 oz tomahawk, which is sometimes hard for restaurants to get right since it is so large. This steak was cooked perfectly medium rare throughout (the only way to eat a steak amiright?) with a nice crust, and the seasoning was spot on! We also ordered the creamed spinach which was also delicious. I liked how you could taste more of the spinach whereas a lot of other places make it way too creamy for me. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly too. We will have to come back to try more of the menu next time!

Feels like an old time Vegas casino steakhouse with red leather banquettes and dim lighting. Service is excellent—our server, Jessica, didn't miss a beat. One of us had what he said was one of the very best Old Fashioned drinks he'd ever had. Food was great though, much to ever our surprise, none of the four of us had beef. Scallops, fried chicken, shrimp cocktail and salmon were all done especially well. From start to finish, Charcoal Room delivered. Not our first visit and certainly won't be our last.

3 stars is generous. I've been here many times. . Tonight, they missed the mark. $75 filet special was what I would expect at a golf course catered wedding. Luke warm filet, Luke warm mashed potatoes, shrimp was hot and perfect. I did not finish the meal. Pretty shameful for a higher end restaurant. Maybe they are over run, although the restaurant was at about 50% capacity. Curious about the other properties?
