Stopped in after hitting the antique mall on Main Street. The food is super authentic and fresh. The service was on point. The area leaves a little to be desired. Loved the pad Thai and garlic chicken, but the crab Rangoon stole the show! I got 7 on the spice scale and it was pleasant consistent heat. My wife got a 3 and felt that was pretty hot :)

Decided to have some Thai for lunch and this gem of a restaurant was located within walking distance from our hotel, The English. We had Crab Rangoon - very mild with a nice sweet sauce, and Green Curry with Chicken and Shrimp at a 6 spice level - it was amazing and I liked it even better than our Thai Place at home as they don't put in any eggplant in this version!Service was so friendly and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere was perfect for a lunch spot and dinner would be great too - just don't expect the elaborate decor of Strip Casinos or anything like that. It was super clean and there was ample seating.

This place has inspired my appetite for Thai food again!! Finally a Thai restaurant that serves Thai cuisine vs Westernized/localized taste. Thai spicy! So from a range of 1-10, 3 is Western mild/medium which is good for me who enjoys mild (Spicy 1 is nothing). Con is that we were really thirsty after :( So ingredients used aren't as clean as we wished. But the taste is way better than other local places in the Westside area.Small place good for parties of 2-4. There are 4 tables that fit 4, and 2 tables that fit 2ppl. Don't get it confused wity Bangkok Street Food in DTLV. When I yelp, I accidentally searched that company vs DE Thai Restaurant. We walked over from Bangalow Coffee Shop. The Thai items offered are general popular favorites. Exception regional specific food: Northern Thai's $17 Kao Soi, and Southern Thai's $17 Kua Gling, and $24 Ka Nom Jeen Nam Ya Pu.- $12 Papaya Salad.- $16 Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with crispy pork. Other proteins are lower in price, except seafood at $18. The noodles surprisingly was really good, egg pan fried. But the sliced mushrooms was a weird surprise haha- $19 Spicy Catfish. Texture was good. Slightly fishy but expected for catfish.- $3 per bowl of Jasmine rice.No tap/house water. When you order water, it'll be an order bottle water.- $4 coconut water. Not fresh version. Just the generic brand vita coco.- $5 Palm Juice bottle.I normally would pick Kao Soi and/or Catfish dishes. Interested in trying next time:- $17 Kao Soi- A spicy basil plate- Larb- $24 Ka Nom Jeen Nam Ya Pu- $20 Beef Waterfall- $20 Crying Tiger- sausage, crab fried rice.....too many items I'm interested in trying. I'm pretty picky with boat noodle soup so I'm a bit hesitant to try. This place seems good for rice dishes.

My brother did a last minute decision to eat before hitting the road to back home. We hit gold. A incredible hole in the wall Thai eatery. Simple choices to choose from on the menu. The food was unbelievable good. Even the spice cabinet was out of this world tasty. The waitress was so friendly. My brother and I were so impressed with her attentiveness. Awesome place. Will return!!!

Love the drunken noodles and the kao soy. It's not 5 stars because the dine in place is tiny and it's hard to find parking. And they don't offer free water now you have to pay for bottled water.

Waitress Oil, chefs Koe and Moo provide very good authentic Thai food with excellent service! Small family style diner with tables and benches and some little tables outside on the street front. Highly recommend the spicy catfish, basil fried rice and the soup! Portions were generous and had food left to take home. This was our first time here, but will be back! Thanks Oil, Koe, and Moo! Great to have you in the community!!
