Fish quality good but chef made sashimi look like it was in a car accident. Get a better chefs knife at least. Mangled pieces of nigiri not cool for the high prices they have here. Service poor. Server was on her phone most of the time and couldn't care less about asking us for beer refills. Atmosphere inside ok but clear view of Wendy's drive thru from our table made ambiance less classy.

My partner and I decided to drop in for a late lunch and it was a hit!! The notoriety of Justin, sushi chef, makes this place a must visit. The artful presentation of our food coupled with the quality and freshness of the fish made the food so delicious, I had to visit again for dinner with my wife. It’s now her new favorite place for high quality sushi in town, far above everyone else.Parking: Central location in town and very easy to get to.

This has been my go to sushi spot for the past year, the quality of fish and service is always top tier. Their extensive selection of food is great but the Wagyu fried rice and sukiyaki are the best dishes in the menu! The establishment itself is very nicely decorated and most importantly, clean. If you're looking for a fairly priced quality sushi spot, this is it.

I walked in expecting this kinda mid-tier sushi vibe when it comes to price but then, bam, the menu hits you with these prices that make your wallet want to hide. Some dishes were definitely worth the splurge, though! Let's dive into the skewers first. The chicken skin skewers are as basic as it gets - no fancy tare, no secret sauce, nothing. Just plain ol' chicken skin that you're dunking in soy sauce. It's alright, but nothing to write home about. The A5 Wagyu skewers were a whole different story. At 10 bucks a skewer, you might pause, but trust me, it's like a flashback to Tsukiji market in Japan. Those skewers are legit, giving you that melt-in-your-mouth experience that justifies the price. Hand rolls are where it gets interesting. They're all pretty expensive but if you get 3 you will get a discount (3 for $30). The scallop uni hand roll is out of this world, truly amazing stuff. Then you've got this fatty tuna, uni, and scallion roll that's just... chef's kiss. The spicy crab, shrimp, and eel roll though, while tasty, didn't really justify the price. Now, the surprise MVP of the meal? The crab cream croquettes. I mean, 7 bucks for two, and they're absolutely delicious. It's like finding treasure in a sea of overpriced dishes. Definitely a must-try. So, wrapping it up, while in the more expensive side, some dishes are a hit straight out of the park, making you feel like you're getting a slice of Japan on your plate.

Overall a pretty cozy place. Had sushi omakase and some appetizers. The sushi had a good variety of fresh fish, however the sushi rice was way overcooked for me.

Super friendly staff, clean location that's in a super convenient location. Overall the food was very good but the fish was a tad too warm for my liking, and for the price I would have liked it a tad colder. I would definitely go back again as the service was top notch!

I happened to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant today while searching for sushi spots online. Saw some positive reviews so decided to check it out and I am very happy I did. Came here for lunch and was promptly greeted and sat at the sushi bar. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was clean and tidy. The sushi chef gave me a couple recommendations since this was my first visit. I went w one of the specials that included 5 pieces of toro topped w caviar. The sushi was delicious, full of flavor and very fresh. I loved the toro so much I decided to order some chu toro nigiri. Additionally, had a house salad and halibut sushi and everything was phenomenal. I highly recommend this location and can’t wait to be back.

I have only ever ordered from here on Postmates but each time it has been really good. The food is always pretty fresh despite travel. They have a great variety of rolls on their menu and there is certainly something for everyone. They are quick too. Every time I have ordered I usually recieve it within 20-30 minutes. Eventually I will need to make my way to them in person and see how it is in person!

We had a reservation, and we were seated right away. Overall, all the staff were excellent, friendly, and attentive. Our server, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had a delightful dining experience. We were greeted with a warm smile and promptly took our drink orders. Throughout the evening, they checked on us regularly, making sure our glasses were never empty and our needs were met. Not only did the staff provide excellent service, but the restaurant atmosphere was also captivating. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. It was evident that the management had put thought and effort into creating a pleasant environment for their guests. As for the food, we were not disappointed. The menu offered a wide variety of mouthwatering options, making it difficult to choose just one dish. From appetizers to desserts, each plate was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors were exquisite, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chef. We savored every bite, and the portion sizes were generous, leaving us fully satisfied. Why four stars if everything was excellent? When my friend asked for an extra slice of bread for the tuna, they wanted to charge us again the same price if we were ordering another one. Then we were told because it was very expensive.

Service, quality, selection and attention to detail are in abundance here. Appreciate the customization they offer and the easy (free) parking too! Wonderful neighborhood sushi venue. Dined here four times, each experience has been positive and enjoyable. Check out the Happy Hour specials in image attached.

Upon entering Daisho, you're greeted with a cozy yet elegant ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The sushi bar takes center stage, showcasing the skillful chefs as they expertly prepare each dish with precision and care. One of the standout features of Daisho is the quality and freshness of its ingredients. The sashimi practically melts in your mouth, with each slice showcasing the natural flavors of the fish. The sushi rolls are equally impressive, with creative combinations that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. In addition to the sushi, Daisho also offers a variety of other Japanese dishes that are worth trying. The selection of A5 wagyu beef is crazy over there! The service at Daisho is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Overall, Daisho Sushi Lounge is a fantastic restaurant that excels in both quality and variety. Nestled in a conveniently accessible area, this establishment offers a pleasant ambiance. The service is commendable, and the sushi selection is outstanding. Our dining experience was characterized by a diverse array of dishes, each of which was enjoyable.

My best friend loves this place! I wanted to love it, and there are a couple of dishes that I do love -- the uni chawanmushi and also the lobster chawanmushi. But the rolls are underwhelming, I feel like they add eel sauce and spicy mayo to everything (like at all you can eat restaurants), the grilled duck we got was over cooked and pretty tough. I would give it a higher rating if everything wasn't so overpriced. I'm a local and trust me we splurge on dinner and drinks but it just wasn't justifiable. I'd rather go to sushi hiro on eastern, relatively the same price points but with much better quality sushi.. or even omakase kyara right down the street. Hachi is my favorite Japanese izakaya place, all their robata items are grilled to perfection. Service was great though.
