We arrived at the Mirage the evening of March 30. As it was quite late we asked the hostess if they were still having dinner service. She cheerfully said for 5 more minutes and led us to a booth. The server came up and informed us we had two minutes to order. We should have left at that point, but I quickly ordered a chicken burrito and my husband a chicken quesidilla. The waitress then returned ( we had not yet received our food ), and told us the bar tender wanted to leave so if we were paying cash she needed the money. We told her we could pay by card. A member of the kitchen staff brought our food to the table. It was cold and extremely dry. We waved the server over and requested sour cream and salsa only to be told " sorry the food has all been put away and the cooler locked ". She then walked away and came back with take out containers ( a not so subtle hint as they weren't requested. ) We paid our bill and left our barely eaten food, behind. In over 30 years in the hospitality industry, it was one of the worst dining experiences ever. With many wonderful LV dining options, avoid this place at all cost!!

Do NOT eat here. Worst Mexican food ever. The roasted chicken tacos were down right vile. The sauce on the beef enchiladas was worse than chef boyardee. Inedible. Thankfully our waitress was kind to remove both entrees from our bill.

if you enjoy getting scammed, go right ahead and eat at this place. however, if you'd like to save $70 in tip money because the server won't let you leave without tipping that amount, save yourself some time and don't go to this place. we had juan as our server, that was probably the only bad thing at this place. food was mid. up charged us for ice cream on the churros, which we never asked for. when we told him that we didn't want ice cream, he proceeded to tell us "oh you can just take it off". he then proceeded to take the ice cream off and put it on a separate plate. any decent restaurant would bring you a new plate of dessert. what if i was lactose intolerant or even allergic? i never mention names but i really had to this time. truly horrible service i've ever had.

Got a reservation thru open table. Went to check in and no reservation. Waitress asked it was thru open table, which it was. She said, open table reservations don't go thru to us and we have had many complaints from customers. She said managers have tried working with open table, with no results. Don't order reservations thru open table...they don't work at Diablos

Never judge a book by its cover and never judge a restaurant by its decor. This place looks great from the outside. So colorful and vibrant. It’s a shame the food tasted like it came from a high school cafeteria. I will say that I enjoyed the chips and salsa, and our waitress was excellent. Unfortunately, that’s the last positive thing l have to say. I had the fish tacos. It tasted like fish was left out in the Las Vegas desert, frozen, and then reheated. The rice had the consistency of saw dust and I didn’t even touch the beans based on its appearance. And the Mexican street corn actually tasted like it was rolling around a Mexican street and then covered in Kraft Parmesan cheese. Needless to say if you ever see me at this place again it will be a Mirage.

If you enjoy anything that resembles Tex-mex, RUN AWAY. Honestly, I am not sure how you make food this poorly. If that weren’t bad enough, I ordered a Cadillac margarita and I am pretty certain that they poured it out of a can and then added Rose’s lime juice to it. Absolutely awful - it is incomprehensible that they have a 4.2 overall rating…

Diablo Cantina, another gem in the Mexican dining scene, impressed us with a diverse palate of flavors. The nachos were a crunchy delight, the tortilla soup brought a comforting warmth, and both the beer and margaritas were expertly crafted.Opting to sit at the bar, we enjoyed a captivating view of the kitchen, adding an entertaining element to our dining experience. The synergy between the bar and kitchen showcased the restaurant's commitment to transparency and culinary excellence. Diablo Cantina is a must-visit for those seeking not only delicious Mexican cuisine but also an engaging and visually appealing atmosphere.

Chips and salsa are good! The wife and I shared a plate of nachos together. Definitely enough to fill you up. They serve the meat in bigger chunks on the nachos but overall the nachos did taste good! The service from Diana R was great, she was always making sure we had chips and refills. Great service!

My fiancé and I went to this place. Spent about 96$ with a 20$ tip. Waitress was nice. We were there around 12:30pm on Halloween October 31st. Please check the cameras. The older man with glasses was the manger and check on every table except for ours. Manager was discriminating us at this point. Long story short forgot my Marc jacobs purse. wallet, and car keys . Less than 5 mins that we left the restaurant my fiancéwent back to get my purse that I left accidentally since I have an injured hip it was difficult for me to go back up to the restaurant.(my injury og my hip was documented at urgent care) My fiancé requested to speak to the manager and the hostess said no I will not get the manager you need to have your girlfriend to come up and get. Mean while my fiancé signaled the waitress that attended us to come help and verified that it was him sitting at the table where my purse was left. Waitress verified, but the hostess was still giving my bf a hard time so then the another waitressed helped my boyfriend to get the manager since the hostess denied access to the manager. Then I received a horrifying a phone call from my fiancé crying over the phone while the staff was verbally abusing him and harassed by a employees even one of employee that looked like she was off the clock with a backpack on wearing all black heavy and was videotaping, my fiancé, crying. I was so scared because he told me that they were going through my purse/personal property. My car keys were in there with ID, with my heart condition, and back pain. With all the adrenaline and emotional stress. I ran up before they took anything from my purse. When I got there, and I showed the manger a picture of my id. He Called the security guard when I told him it is necessary to call the cops to report this. Security guard right away told them to give me my purse. because I told the manager I was going to call the cops. Later on my fiancé explained that the hostess did agree to give him my purse since he identified my ID by my name and the waitress that helped us on our table where we left my purse, verify that it was him that paid for the bill where we sat. This whole harassment and emotional distress could have been avoided if the staff members and the manager were clear about their policy and honest to begin with. I will be attaching a medical report and my doctor report from the emotional distress and causing more physical pain to my back. Especially to my fiancé that has a health condition diagnosed.
