Last year, we had friends from out of town whom we wanted to treat to a wine tasting at the French Cellar. However the night we wanted to go, there was a formal wine tasting for members only. Nicholas Kalpokdjian personally responded to my request for a reservation and said he would accommodate us. Imagine our delight, when the six of us entered and found a table set just for us, with a fabulous charcuterie board and four glasses each for tasting the wines of the day.We were so impressed at the sommelier's presentation, the wines we tasted, and the delicious cheeses and rillettes. I signed up on the spot and became a member.Throughout the year, there were several formal and informal wine tastings. We heard from several sommeliers, one of them is a Master Sommelier (highest distinction a professional can attain in fine wine and beverage service). There were blind tastings where we learned what to look for and then try to guess what we were tasting. They call it the wine tasting grid. That's probably my favorite type of tasting.Besides attending frequent wine tatings as members, we receive two bottles of the Cellar's choosing every month. Recently, members were treated to an appreciation party when the wines flowed, and delicious hors d'ouevres were served (prepared by the Partage chefs, of course). And Partage chef Yuri Szarzewski mingled with the guests as well. What a night to remember! We've always had such a delightful time with friends when wine-tasting at the French Cellar. We truly appreciate Nicholas, Herve and Virginie for the outstanding relationships they have formed with the members.

This place was delightful and amazing. Some wines by the glass, and bottle. Food menu, my boyfriend got the escargot and enjoyed it very much. He also, said the truffle butter was killer. I loved the French Bordeaux and the Chardonnay. They do have a wine club available. They are only open certain days and sometimes closed for events. I would absolutely come back. The service was wonderful and the staff were polite and helpful. I loved the interior of the restaurant.

The wine was great, the glasses were clean, and they changed the type of glass for each wine. The owner was very nice too!Formerly Bistro eatt, it has closed and is now a wine bar.The photos are mixed in with the ones from the previous closed restaurant, so make no mistake. It was good before, but here's a very nice wine bar!!!

So, as a new comer to all things Partage, I didn't have any pre-conceived notions or expectation coming into the French Cellar. I was initially looking for an experience that would deliver an easy wine tasting at a reasonable price. Well, I got what I was looking for and with such quality. Off the strip and tucked away in a calm plaza, the French Cellar offers a modest-in-size tasting room that quickly loses its dimensions upon visiting, boasting an expansive collection of wine lining the walls and warm tasting area. When it comes to tasting wine, it is not always a practical experience price-wise. However Partage supports the experience by offering a flight of their wines that the patron can customize to their liking. Between the guidance of the server and sommelier, my partner and I were able to customize a tasting experience that could appeal to our preferences and still show us something new and exciting. The Partage French Cellar is an accessible and still elevated experience for locals and casual visitors alike. If you're off the strip and looking for another way to wine, the French Cellar is open for you.

If you love wine, this place is a must visit!! What used to be Eatt restaurant before is now French Cellar by Partage! Very tastefully decorated, when you enter you feel like you are wine tasting in France! We were lucky to meet the owner Nicolas who is so well versed with all the French wines they have. You can taste by the glass or tasting flight of 3 ($30) The pours for tasting flight are very generous, 3 oz each and we were able to customize what we wanted to taste. If course the first course is Taittinger champagne, which is fantastic. I had a beautiful French Chardonnay with the perfect oak. My husband chose 2 other reds for his tasting flights, a Syrah and chateauneuf du pape blend which was out of this world. They also serve cheese and charcuterie boards, escargot and salmon. It was very interesting to hear about their wine club program and we joined! Can't wait to taste all the fun French wines :)

French wine, French pastries, French food? Anytime! This wine cellar is owned by the same people that own the incredible Partage restaurant located in Chinatown. My friends and I decided we needed to enjoy an afternoon of tasting French wines and small bites. When you walk in, the interior is soft and inviting. Nice bar to sit at along with a couple of booths for larger parties and a nice patio for summer wine drinking. We made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon and had such a lovely time. We were served by the friendly Sanae. I was hoping that one of the sommeliers or experts would be giving us this tasting as I was anxious to learn more about French wine but some other time I guess. Sanae's service was nice but she really didn't give us a lot of info about each wine. We started with a Tattinger champagne and then we ordered the three wine tastes with small bites. All of the wines were good but I was swayed of course by the deep and delicious Chateau du Glana Bordeaux. We enjoyed some delicious cheese, salami, bread, salmon and the truffle butter was interesting and tasty. They offer a wine club that is decently priced and I am still deciding if I want to join. I plan to return soon for another tasting hoping I can receive more education on French wines and then I can make an informed decision about joining the wine club. In addition one can purchase some French specialties such as caviar, foie gras, escargot, and cured duck breast. If you enjoy French wine like I do, this a great place to enjoy some and laugh with friends!
