This was the last night of business for this restaurant. We are happy that we were able to make it before the kitchen had to be closed while the food is fairly. OK some better than others. We were just happy to be able to say goodbye to one of our favorite restaurants.

I have always loved this neighborhood gem of a restaurant. You can dress it up, dress it down, even have breakfast. It was close to home, great food, great service, and the prices were right. It was the kind of place where you could take out of town guests and not have to go down to the Strip. You can only imagine how my heart broke when I found out that the night we went there for dinner was their last night to be open. They have sold to a company that will remodel and take over.

So my grandparents were raving over this place because they came for breakfast about a month ago. They wanted to take me out for my post birthday. The wait staff was nice but not as attentive to our order. I ordered a Chicken Chipotle chicken sandwich. When I first bit into the sandwich it was pretty good but they put a small amount of mayo. My grandmother found out a week later this restaurant is being sold so maybe the staff is checking out

Where to start? Let's see... I called in a couple of days ago to place an order to go, to be fair it was around 9:40pm. Google maps, Apple Maps, and their own website specifically state that they are open until 12am. When the lady answered the phone and I kindly asked if I could place a to go order, she rudely told me they were closed, and before I could begin to let her know that all of the websites state that they are open until midnight, and she might want to pass along to management to have those changed and corrected she abruptly hung up on me. My wife then proceeded to call, and she rudely answered "David I told you we are closed" and abruptly and rudely hung up before my wife could even say hello.Fast forward to today when I STILL decided to give them another chance and my wife and I came in to dine at the bar. The bartender was slow to take our order (not entirely her fault as they were busy and she was doing her rounds.). My problem began after ordering where I didn't see her until she came to collect my bill over an hour later. (She had no problems going around to the other guests in a timely manner to check in on them but she couldn't be bothered to check on me.)My steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well, and my wife's wings were as dry as the Sahara desert. She never came around so I couldn't tell her and I was starving and I didn't want to send the food back as the kitchen was closing within a few minutes.Because of the non service I got I chose not to leave a tip.I don't fault her for the over cooked steak, but I do fault her for going around to everyone else just fine and completely ignoring my wife and I. Because I chose not to tip, the male bartender decided to try and publicly shame me for not tipping by making the comment, "I guess we won't pay our bills this month." This was completely unprofessional and rude. I work in the service industry myself and I tip very well and on a consistent basis. But no one deserves a tip (including myself) if they don't provide even the most basic of service. I have tipped as high as 500% before, and only 3 servers prior to this experience did I ever tip zero, all because of the same issues listed above. (Never judge a book by its cover.)I remember why I stopped coming here and I will never come back. It's no wonder why the place is slow and hurting for business. EVERY staff member I have come in contact with has been rude, and yet still expect a tip.The BUS Boys were the only exception to the rule and I wish I would have had cash on me to give them, because they were the only good staff I came across. To management, it's not hard to provide good customer service. I would highly suggest better training to your staff, because at this rate I'm shocked you even have any customers at all.

We went there Sunday July 16th. There was a small wait of 15 minutes and we could see several open tables but it was no big deal. After getting sat we waited probably 7-8 minutes for our server to come to the table. As we sat, we noticed a bunch of open tables in the back area. I had ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and my wife ordered the Huevos Rancheros. We get our food and I ended up getting country fried steak which is different and didn't receive all the sides I ordered. I planned to let the server know but she didn't come back for quite a while so I gave up and just ate what I received. Our drinks were gone and no sign of the server. She finally came by and asked if we would like more and we said yes. She then had to go back to the back to fill the tea pitcher and came back about five minutes later. By this point I was done with my meal. Overall the food was decent, my wife annoyed her food but mine was rather greasy, yes I know it was fried but you could see the grease more than any other country fried steak I've ever eaten. Service was atrocious. I had read in a locals group they were closing so I asked and the server confirmed they are closing by July 29th, that the owner sold the restaurant and it is turning into a 21 and up har. I assume one of the local gaming taverns bought it.

Been here numerous times. Will was our waiter again, and he was outstanding. Very attentive, knowledgeable and nice about everything food and menu related. Food was great! Mixed drinks were good, but Beer was a little flat. No worries. This place is hopping even at 4:30 on a Sunday.

Our server was great. The bar staff was not. We sat down and just wanted a couple drinks. We were at a machine but we wanted to get drinks and go wait in the lobby. After about 10 min several people come up looking for machines, the bartender finally acknowledge us but it was an ‘oh hey...if you guys aren't gambling I have someone that wants these machines'. I get it...but what terrible service. Hope the bartenders change when they close.

Our reservation was skipped over for some reason. I believe the hostess made a mistake saying we were already seated instead of being checked in. The food was ok, our steak and shrimp was over cooked. Our waiter Will was the highlight of our evening. He was very accommodating and had a superb attitude throughout the dinner. I hope there's a chance he's our waiter on the next visit.

This has been my favorite restaurant since the first day they opened. I'm extremely sad they will be closing in a in a week or two. There aren't any restaurants in the area to compare to FireRock. :(

After being seated and waiting a long time for service, we found out that this restaurant is closing soon. We should have left, but we didn't, and we regretted it. Poor service, poor food, overpriced, you can tell they just don't care anymore

Disappointed to hear that FireRock has been sold to Parkway Tavern. Dinner felt rushed tonight, ordered appetizers along with dinner and a salad. Salad came out first with appetizers right behind about a minute later. Halfway through the salad and the dinner came out. Waiter looked at us like, "Where do I put these plates?" Always very noisy inside. Still a descent meal but not my go-to restaurant.

FireRock Steakhouse is a reasonably priced American Restaurant Bar and Gaming place in the Centennial area of Las Vegas. They also offer breakfast and have multiple dining areas and an outdoor patio (not dog friendly). I was very excited to try burgers here because the burgers are fresh ground daily from their hand cut STEAKS!Whatever you order they offer fresh baked soft light textured bread and butter that is good.We tried the Jalapeno smash burger (medium with fresh fruit) and the hangover burger (medium-rare with onion rings). Both burger patties had a hard sear and did have a really good beef burger taste but oddly both burgers were very dry with zero juice to them. These burgers should have been really great but either the beef to fat ratio was wrong or maybe the cook on just squished all the moisture out of the burgers on the grill? Our server was nice and efficient. This seems like a nice place to try but I will try something different next time.
