Overall the ice cream was pretty good, a lot of flavors to pick from. They did have two benches on the side which were actually clean, so I can also appreciate that. Why is not 5 stars is because of the customer service, the guy behind the window wasn't very nice & seemed super impatient that my kids were taking their time reading the menu. This was a treat for them & it felt rushed and like an inconvenience for this worker.

If I could give a 0 I would!! Hurricane was like water and taste like medicine! I would not ever go again. Service was horrible definitely try somewhere else if your in the mood for Ice cream or good customer service.
So happy Handels opened a location a little closer to me! We got 2 samplers. I got banana cream pie, lemon bar, blueberry cobbler and Oree-dough. My husband got banana cream pie, lemon bar, coconut cream pie and coconut caramel. The person at the register was very nice, we were able to taste samples prior to choosing our flavors. We could not stop eating the banana cream pie and the lemon bar! I love how they both had a crumble that was generously mixed throughout the ice cream so you got some with every bite. Handels is a walk up counter with tables and benches outside. Perfect for (pre) summer weather (since Vegas gets so hot).

These locations are popping up everywhere and I'm so glad there's one closer to us than having to go all the way to Summerlin. Handles is definitely a more "upper scale" type ice cream spot in my opinion for reasons such as, they only allow you to sample one flavor (kind of a bummer if you've never been here before and don't know what the ice cream tastes like), you have to buy a pup cup (most places give it for free), and even though a small scoop comes with two scoops you can only choose one flavor or if you get a waffle bowl as a small comes with three scoops but can still only choose one flavor. Prices seem to be average for an ice cream place and overall the taste and quality is pretty good.

Yum. This was our first ice cream place we tried in Las Vegas 6 years ago and it remains one of the top places that serves homemade custom ice cream flavors. Very tasty and great tasting. Open year round which is nice too. The service is always friendly, with a smile and fast. Of course there can be lines in the summer time but worth it.

Stopped by Handel's after picking up kids from school for a delicious afternoon treat. I got the strawberry cheesecake and got a taste of the banana cream pie from one of my kids. I'll be coming back to get the banana cream pie. Haha. Service was quick. Portions are better than Baskin.

Handel's is always great but this was the best one yet! We were lucky enough to be served by the owner and she was super nice and helpful with suggestions. We liked it so much we went back later for seconds. Highly recommended!
