If you are hungry then you came to the right place! Hippo Grill offers a variety of plate lunches which reminds me of one place in Hawaii which is where we are from! Four sides and a hefty scoopnof rice along with your meat choice or choices! I got the kalbi regular plate for $25.95 and my daughtwr got the meat jun for $18.95. We should have compromised and shared a plate because buggah was huge & hefty! The food was so good!

Perfect if you do not want to go to an all you can eat but still get some Korean bbq. The portion sizes are fair and it's yummy! Service was a quick in and out, which I'm glad they offer pick up.

My husband and I were so happy to find a place that serves meet jun. he is from Hawaii and we love it. He talked story with the owner who is from the same island. When it came time to pay the pay pad asked if I would like to leave a tip. Usually I do not leave a tip for takeout. And Hippo is only takeout. But hey let's support an island boy. Plus we want this place to last. So I did tip $2. A few moments later when the food was ready I asked for an extra sauce. The bill was almost $60 for 2 meat Juns and a mini beef plate. The felt it was still necessary to charge an extra .50 plus tax. I know times are tough but much Aloha can go a long way. Plus my husband has a lot of Hawaiian friends and family who have relocated to the area. It was a shame that we left with a bad taste in our mouth because the meet Jun was delicious.

I really wanted to love this place. I am from Hawai'i and I miss Korean BBQ where you pick your sides. If you think this is like Yummy's in Hawaii, it is NOT. This may be as close as I can get but it was nowhere near as good. We ordered the BBQ chicken and Vegetable plate. BBQ Chicken: It didn't have the char and teriyaki bbq chicken flavoring. Raw onions were under the chicken which made it weird. Vegetable Plate: It barely filled the plate. $10.95 for tiny scoops of tofu, bean sprouts, cabbage and cucumber kimchee. Also, I asked if they could keep my cold items separate from my hot items and he said they can't do that. All that would have required is putting the veggie sides in one plate and the chicken and rice in another. I will probably just make my own from now on....until something similar opens in Las Vegas.

Tried this place out while passing through Vegas. I had the mini Bulgogi beef platter with cucumbers and broccoli as well as a pork roll. Awesome food, great service, and highly recommended. It is a small business I will support every time I am in Vegas.

The price that YOU have set for my order reflects the cost of product, labor, utilities, etc. You are NOT providing a service that justifies a tip! I don't have to tip, but I did with my order using my card because I don't carry cash. When I picked up my order, I asked the big guy that literally just took my order 10 minutes prior for two extra sauces. He says 25 cents each and then laughed and said due to inflation. I am NOT running my card again for 50 cents! At my work, I always take care of my customers because repeat customers secure my job and pay! Due to INFLATION, I'll be taking my hard earned money elsewhere.

AMAZINGGGG service, the food is wonderful and they catered to all of our needs and allergies with no problem, the guy at the front was incredibly sweet to me and my boyfriend and made sure to tell us all the ingredients and everything...COME HERE!!! so yummy!!!

Good food, but they should list if items have crab, shrimp/ oyster etc. even if just for flavoring! I had rice noodles there and noticed later that the flavor was little different, called and they said they use oyster sauce! Please list or post in your restaurant for people with allergies, thanks
Ordered through Uber Eats. For the price, the food was excellent. Kimchi was spot on (didn't expect that) and the pork was good.
