Went in to try one of the new sandwiches for the new year. Got a large maniac fries with brisket. As usual a 5 out of 5. Tried the new pastrami sandwich. Good smoke and pastrami flavor but it was so salty I only took two bites and it was too much. The pastrami sandwich takes an 1out of 5. Hope to try it again in the near future to see if that can get tweaked. Other than that sandwich still the best bbq in Vegas!

**Updated 10/15/2020**I bought a bottle of bbq sauce to take home because we finished the last one.I also ordered three belt buckles.I got home and noticed the bbq sauce they bottled was much lighter and didn't taste the same. I put the God sauce from the cup and the bottle and it looks like the bottle one was watered down. $10 for this bottle and you guys are going to dilute it when you can buy the same amount for $3 at the store? I was a die hard fan of this place and recommend it to everyone. Not only that but the crisscut fries were burnt. What's going on Jessie Rae's? Very disappointed.* Last year's review below *This is the best brisket in my opinion. I am on keto diet currently; therefore, I have to skip the sauces, crisscut fries, and mac 'n cheese. Eating this by itself, really brings out the smoky flavor of the meat.All their meats are wonderful.Special treat, their truffles are amazing!

There's a reason why they are on the must try list for vegas. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is beyond good. The sauces have just the right amount of kick but not spicy and the meat is tender and perfect. Definitely saved it to my favorites.

Very good. I got "The Belt" brisket is juicy and the white sauce is very tasty (pause). Haven't had a bad meal here yet. Wish they had potato salad though.. only knock from me

Had to try the place out after seeing it on the way to work all the time. My only regret is not trying it sooner!Cashier was friendly, atmosphere was alright, but the food was really good.I ordered the loaded Mac and cheese and the Jessie Rae Mac. The Mac and cheese was very flavorful and had a very tender flavorful brisket mixed in. The Jessie Rae Mac was loaded with meat that was very juicy and tender.Highly recommend checking them out!

Waffle fries with brisket on top which they call "The Belt Buckle" is fire!The white sauce they put on top of it isn't Ranch like some people think. I believe they call it "Bama sauce" and it is super good. I hear good things about their other dishes. But when I come in I can't seem to order anything but "The Belt Buckle"... it's that good. I guess one day I'll get around to ordering something else off the menu.But for now, "two orders of The Belt Buckle please!" Helpful tip: the restaurant is what some people might call small and intimate or just Hella tiny. At any rate, If your a bit claustrophobic you might want to consider dining out/pick up.

I have heard good things about Jessie Rae’s BBQ for a couple years now and decided to give it a try for the first time. Ordered half rack spare ribs and 2lbs of brisket which came out to a little over $70. I see why this place gets such good reviews, the ribs were flavorful and the most tender I’ve ever eaten and the bbq sauce was good. The brisket was great as well, tender and great taste as well. Will definitely come back to get food here again.

"It's BBQ but the style is it's own - better than some, but not the best Vegas has to offer". I titled my review this way as I have eaten what is considered BBQ in Las Vegas in at least 10-12 different places trying to find the best. I'd put this one in the top 5 which is pretty good but there is better. The style isn't specifically any kind if you have sampled BBQ across the country. It's not the hardcore long smoked meats with a solid smoke ring like you find in Texas or Missouri, but it's not as sauce heavy as you find in the Carolinas. So it's somewhere in between with what has clearly been smoked, and drizzled in sauce but not as much of either to be a specific style. The beans side was good and my family loved the mac and cheese. The place is kind of small and dumpy so getting it to go if you are in the area is the pro tip. I don't think there is any better BBQ in the immediate area so if you are nearby and want BBQ, this is the place to go. If however, you are in other parts of the city, there is better.
