Pros: My wife and I ordered the seabass sliders....absolutely delicious. The sweet chili green beans were also super yummy!Cons: We ordered the surf and turf with the upgrade to the waygu filet with crab Oscar. The steak was cooked well done--we ordered them medium. The waygu steak had grizzle and not very good textue. The crab Oscar was a pinch of crab....rather shabby. I ordered several Captain Morgan and cokes, only to be served water down drinks! Lastly, the manager came by the table and asked how our dinner was. After telling him how bad the dinner was, he offered us a complimentary New York style cheesecake. It was a horrible tasting, so he took it away after we each tried a couple bites.I don't see ourselves going back. The dinner plates were around $58 a plate. It was rather disappointing with exception to the above named items.

Kona grill has become one of my absolute favorite local spots. You can catch me at the bar being entertained with great conversation with Erin and Madison and all the other bartenders. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The manager Loralie is always walking around busy, but when she stops by she is always a pleasure. Coming to Kona is a highlight of the week, definitely come check out the gang behind the bar if you want a great time!! Thank you Erin and Maddie!

I got the lunch special for $19. I wasn’t impressed. The cheese bread was weird tasting. The brownie that came with lunch deal was old and dry. I gave it back to waiter. The only thing enjoyable was strawberry lemonade. Their prices are a bit steep for what you get. I will not be back by choice. Food choices are like snacks. You will be hungry very soon afterwards. Speaking on what I ordered only.

My husband Chris chose this restaurant to celebrate his birthday for the 2nd year in a row. We started out with the RIBEYE MEATBALLS and AVOCADO ? ROLLS.For our mains we did aFIRE DRAGON ROLL and THE BIG ISLAND RIBEYE. This combo fed 3 of us! We washedthis tastebud tingling experience down with bottomless ? Mimosas.

The ribeye steak was delicious, the best I ever had, and the kids bento boxes are an awesome deal. We definitely will be back. It's worth it.
