I had the Croque Monsieur paired with an excellent café mocha. Both were wonderful! There was a bit of time lag between ordering and receiving the meal, but that gave me the opportunity to have a pleasant conversation with my wife. Definitely not 'fast food'. More like a morning meal as it was meant to be: good food and good company.

Love coming here. I always choose Cafe du Val or Sud to host business meetings as I know my clients will love the atmosphere and the food just as much as I do!

Pretty tasty stuff, but they’re gonna get at that wallet. Inflation bla bla.

Ok this place was on my regular rotation but after Keith Lee boasting about it the prices sky rocketed! Come on now, you were already popular amongst the locals that live nearby no need to do that, and don’t even say because of inflation either!

Every time we come here, the food is consistently delicious and made right using fresh ingredients. You can’t go wrong with any of the galettes. The pastries on display are freshly baked and the chocolate walnut cookie is amazing so get it before it sells out because it’s one of their most popular items. Service is awesome and I have to give 10 stars to the young (Asian) man who brought food to our table. He was attentive and really friendly and helpful. We always bring our out-of-town guests here for brunch.

Very disappointing service and attitude to a loyal customer! Today, I went to the cafe and ordered a Cappuccino. After placing my order and over the course of the next 20 minutes, I asked about my drink three times. On my third inquiry, the manager snapped and rudely asked me "What do you want now??!!" I told her I had been waiting 20 minutes for my Cappuccino to which she replied "Can't you see that we are busy?". Since moving to the area six months ago, we have frequently visited the cafe. Sadly, the service, quality of food and drinks, as well as a feeling that the customer just doesn't matter any longer, is why I will never return to this business. Save your money, your time and your dignity. Find a real cafe that still values your hard earned money, treats you with respect and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for cold drinks and tasteless food! There are many better choices in our city. Give them your business instead!

I love this French cafe in Southern Highlands and I come somewhat regularly. For my most recent visit, it’s worth noting that the Speed of service was slightly slower than I would have liked, but still attentive and drinks were made flawlessly. The service is always kind and atmosphere is perfection. Two coffee drinks and one crepe was about $30, so if that’s pricey for you, be mindful of your budget. The quality is excellent and on par with that of any Parisian cafe. I highly recommend their pastries, and sweet and savory crepes. The buckwheat crepes are especially lovely!Would love if you offered more vegan options.Dietary restrictions: Not much in the way of options for those who have a restricted diet. They do offer plant based milk alternatives, but it is not a gluten free establishment, so bear that in mind. Vegan options do not exist.
