The injera is good and the people are nice but DO NOT BUY LAMB from this place. I made the mistake of doing that twice and when I took it home 75 percent of the "meat" is bones, fat, tendons, etc...and it's very tough. I wouldn't even use it for kikel. በጉን አትግዙ

Just passing through and got a great gored gored (one of the best I've had in a while) and Ambo water to go, and got to practice some Amharic. Friendly staff there and the place is very nice with easy parking.

After falling in love with Ethiopian food in Los Angeles, I was on a mission to find a great Ethiopian spot here in Vegas. After a few tries, finally found this great place. Not only can you get your favorite Ethiopian entrées in the restaurant portion of the business, but you can also buy spices, traditional foods, and even pick up a delicious homemade cake to bring to a friends birthday party. What a great place! So glad to find traditional Ethiopian food and products. But, of course, my favorite thing to do is to go inside and have their traditional plate. Highly recommend!!

Recently my dentist removed all my teeth and I find it difficult to eat as usual with out my teeth. Melkam Ethiopian restaurant treated me as a family when I explain that I needed special kind of food .without a problem I found my place. I was satisfied with their special plate called Agelgel .
