Was in the area. Saw this place on Google Maps. We were a party of 4. We all ordered a Filipino entree and we were all excited and delighted about our choices. Great food! The staff were all upbeat, friendly and Awesome! I highly recommend this place. I will be going back often and I live 17 miles away.

I came here when I was riding from Red Rock and was craving some late breakfast. As I was coming down blue diamond I noticed there was a Denny’s across the street but I also saw Mountain West eatery, the reviews looked positive so I decided to give it a try. Luckily It wasn’t busy and was seated quickly. the waitress (Mandi I believe) was very helpful in explaining the manual items and confirm that breakfast is served all day. Ended up getting two eggs with smothered potatoes and pancake instead of toast along with the peach cobbler. I opted for the Filipino sausage, which was a great choice… The meal hit the spot and everything was perfect. She explained to me that the owners were Filipina and African-American, which explained the varied menu items. I returned two weeks later and chose the omelette with pulled pork, which was good, but I found the pork to be a little bit on the dry side even though it was very tasty. I also ordered a side salad with ranch and thousand islands and it was very good. The lettuce was very cold which made everything crisp . The peach cobbler. I ordered it the second time with ice cream, which was better than when I ordered it with the whip cream the first time. Living on the east side of Henderson it’s worth the ride to go to this place… Highly recommend it.

Highly recommend this place especially if you are creating Filipino breakfast but also some people in your party would like a more traditional breakfast. The service was fast and they were very nice. The coffee was okay which is why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that I would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: You can customize to your liking. They have lots of fish options as well.

As a customer that has been going to this place since opened, I am VERY unhappy with the treatment I received from a so called manager named JEN. I ordered my usual a fried fish dinner and the food was under cooked. I called to explain to them I was not satisfied and the food under cooked. JEN took my call was very rude, over talking me, and instead of asking how they make this right, she kept questioning why I called. Extremely uncalled for. I want the owner to be in contact me with asap!

There was very few customers when we went so service staff was working on wrapping silverware and other tasks due to it being late lunch and too early for dinner folks. So, attending to customers was sporadic but we weren't in a rush or demanding so it was okay. Interesting and diverse menu.

We ate here for the first time, Sunday 02/04/2024 for lunch. Place was hopping so we thought we would try it. Sat us quickly, we made our order and the waitress already apologized on the wait. 45 minutes went by, no one came by for update for our order. No one asked to refill our drinks - basically no acknowledgment that we had been waiting. I finally had to ask how long more it would be. The waitress was visibly annoyed that I asked! She came back said we were next, however long that would be. Again no sorry for the long wait, no drink refills offered. 15 minutes plus went by finally the food came - and it was just okay - not worth the hour wait. And when we got our food, then they started to acknowledge our presents. A poor Doordasher was alerted that his pick-up was ready but when he got there they even argued about the app being wrong? And poor kid waited for 15 to 20 minutes! Great Dasher service at least.. So, food is just okay NOT worth an hour wait and NOT worth the lack of service. Hopefully it is not the norm.

My wife and I got breakfast (served all day!!!!), I ordered the chicken and waffles and she ordered the french toast and we both cleaned our plates. The waffle was soft and delicious, served with butter and syrup. The chicken isn’t just a chicken tender; rather, it was chicken wings! Score! My wife loved her French toast and the eggs accompanied by it were absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable and everything is worth it. I’m already recommending this to my friends and family, and you should try it too.

The food was excellent! Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had, which is something that I thought couldn’t get better. The French toast were soft and fluffy, the bacon was perfect, but above all else, the service was kind and personal. You can feel that this is family owned because they make you feel like part of the group when you eat here. My husband and I were taking a quick selfie when the manager offered to take our picture in front of their unique backdrop! It’s little touches like this that make your experience personal and fun. I will definitely come back!

The food was delicious the four stars was the salad with the meal. The lettuce was brown and mainly the core of the lettuce not the leaves. The service and servers were excellent we had a party of eight so they did a great job with our party.
