Tl;Dr. Great. Not the service. To start. The ambience of the place is really beautiful. The Sakura tree was a nice addition. We arrive and it took us some time to be seated. Looked semi-busy, so no problem. It was a Thursday night. Wasn't expecting full staff lol. We probably get seated after 5mins and that's when the wait time really took some time. It took a long time to get asked drinks. And then waiting for the food order was awhile. It also took a long time for appetizers to roll out as well. I believe the problem is that we got sat at the habachi table. My group was 3 and the other group that sat with us was 7, I believe. They took the orders all together, so the food comes out at the same time. That I get. But wow if it's a big table like that, then I would double time for them. Especially if they're all not together like that. The food was the saving grace. All the food that was delivered and cooked Infront of us was fantastic. Had me almost in a tear moment. The chef that cooked our meal was great. Very funny with his work of art and overall made it well worth the wait. Also. My girlfriend said the women's bathroom was disgusting. Overall. The 4 star is there because the service could've been better. Definitely needs more people. Food was fantastic and would love to go and check out the other restaurants they have.

We were a party of four. 2 women and 2 children. I ordered a double fillet mignon teppenyaki cuz the 10 yr old next to me only wanted some steak and truffle fries. Do you know the man cooking the food said to me 'Oh double filet, youre a big eater'! In front of everyone. That was very rude and embarrassing and then I had to explain that the boy only wanted steak. Then he proceeded to cook the steak well done when we aked for it med rare. We had to send it back cuz it tasted like liver. Also the bathroom was very disgustingly dirty. Wont be going back to that location. The 3 sushi rolls we ordered were good tho. And the waitress was very very nice in trying to fix our order and even before things went wrong she was great. Shes is why we still tipped over 20 percent.

Great meal! My steak was a tad more done than I ordered, but not a big deal. Sushi was great. Music was a tad loud to carry on a conversation.

The creamy croquettes and tempura were the perfect appetizers for two. The steak teriyaki and salmon teriyaki were delicious and perfectly cooked. I would have liked more onion in the onion soup, but it was still very pleasant to taste. The staff was nice and very attentive. Loved the way the restaurant was set up. Great for dates and special family outings, especially the hibachi area.

We went on Valentines Night. Made a reservation. Was very busy and had only two guys running floor, door and table busing and two waitresses that I seen. They really busted their butts to make the night go smooth. Will definitely visit again.

First time visiting, and it was a great experience. Food was awesome! Roy our personal cook was very friendly and entertaining. Easily recommended and the prices aren't bad either.

Fun dinner to have with the family! The waitress was attentive and the chef made sure to involve everyone in our party from our 4 year old to the adults. Condiments such as salt, pepper, soy sauce and their two house sauces were available at the table. Salad and soup that came with the hibachi were very tasty as well.

Food was great, waiting over a hour for the Hibachi grill, the staff should communicate the wait time better. We would have just taken a normal table if we knew the wait was going to be that long. Besides that, everything was excellent.

When I asked where to take my granddaughter for dinner, my daughter highly recommended Ohjah's. She went so far as to say that, in her opinion, it was head and shoulders better than Benihana's in Los Angeles, which is where we are from. Are they still open? I thought the owner went to prison for money laundering or something similar. This Ohjah at 8991 Sahara Ave is relatively new, so we ended up here last Friday evening. I wasn't overwhelmed with the taste of the food. There was way too much salt and garlic in everything cooked. While my granddaughter said she liked it, she ate almost nothing. But for those of you with a 5-year-old, don't they generally like everything, and if not, spit it out in your hand or, if you're fast enough, in a napkin? The one positive was the teppanyaki chef, who was enthusiastic and talkative. My granddaughter loved the show, especially the volcano and train made with onions. I wouldn't return for the food, but if my grandaughter wanted to return for the theatrics, I'd do so in a heartbeat.Wheelchair accessibility: The food was not good.
