I wanted to treat my friend for her birthday after work and she suggested this place, she’s been here multiple times and I wanted to give this place a chance and oh boy what an experience! Cozy little place, warm customer service, and perfect food, I can’t tell how satisfied I was, a MUST try!!!We got the gyoza, bun (chashu), and tonkotsu misu.

My late sister & I used to eat here all the time! She may not be here to share a table with me, but after a hard day at work or when I stop by here as a treat on my errands, eating tofu & curry will always remind me of the days we would go together ?

Sake tastes like soap. I love it here, the food, the service, the price, the atmosphere everything is fantastic. I come in all the time with roommates, but we come less and less since the hot sake is awful. Just terrible.

Got the Tonkotsu ramen. It was very good overall, but the chashu (pork) put it over the top. I have eaten a lot of ramen, and the chashu in this one was the best I've ever had. It was the right amount of fatty and great flavor.

CHECK YOUR BILL. DISHONEST BUSINESS.Scam for over 50% tip. $15.96, for $31.05 in food. This place adds a 20% tip this was a party of 42 Adults. 2 kids who did not interact with the waitress. And a literal baby who needless to say was not waited on.They counted that as 5. The baby didn’t order she doesn’t really even know how her own teeth work yet. Why is that part of the party size. Then allows you to tip a percentage of 120% of the bill.Trying to bag a tip goal of $15.96From $31.05 purchase.

We loved this place for the past years. However, today's service was terrible.Food taste has been changed and servers too. As the picture, we did not have enough sauce for the cutlet so I asked a server. But she said it should be charged $5 for the sauce. What kinda service is that?I feel I'm wasting a lot of money here.We have been spending about $100 for two people including tips.I guess it will be the last visit and will share our friends too.Very disappointed. Not only for food, those two servers didn't even smile and just dropped the dishes on the table and left.

Food is always good here. Love the street food atmosphere. Our waitress must have been have had other things on her mind, as we needed to ask for utensils after our appetizers were served, she wasn't smiling throughout our time there, and she wasn't very personable. It's okay, we all have our days. I pray things are better for her now. I still left a 20% tip from a check for 5 hungry patrons. ?

One of the oldest and well established in town but I find their Tonkotsu ramen lacking in something. I cant figure it out.

The seafood pasta was really good. It had enough sauce and it had a nice coconut seaweed flavor. You can choose either ramen or udon.

The spicy Tonkotsu Ramen from here has a couple less ingredients and is $2 cheaper (at $15) but edges out (8.75/10) the Jinya Tonkotsu Black (8.5/10) from Jinya. At least in broth and according to my palette. Both places have great service and a casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan friendly options!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Just don't give your kids a lot of broth if they're not old enough to handle it.Parking: On Saturday night, parking was very tight. Looks like because it shares a lot with popular KBBQ and Karaoke places.

This is a pretty good place for Japanese noodles, rice bowls, and bento style meals. We dine here often but we usually end up ordering two of our favorites Katsu-Don and the Gyu-Don out of their extensive menu. We've also tried many of their Udon and Soba dishes too and they are all good. The Katsu-Don is very good here and the Pork Katsu is not over cooked and the donburi sauce is very good even though there is just too much rice for my preference and not enough sauce because it's served in a huge bowl. It's not quite as good Ton Ton Katsuya but it's not 3x expensive either.Same goes for the Gyu-Don it's good but too much rice and not enough sauce for my preference. The service is good here and the staff is friendly.

There's a wide variety of Japanese food ion the menu - sashimi, ramen, rice bowls, poké, hot and cold noodles, etc. - and I had the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, which was a gastronomical delight.Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and fast.I will be back.
