Vegas is one of those towns that no matter how many times you go, you'll never go to the same restaurant twice if you wanted to. For me, I'm going to make it a point to definitely go to Peter Luger again. I went last Friday (03/22.) Everything about the experience was top notch. The steak for 2 was prepared in Peter Luger's manner perfectly per our order. It was amazing how the filet side was nearly melt in your mouth, while the strip provided texture and contrast all while prepared in the unique way Peter Luger does it. The side of German potatoes reminded me of how my grandmother from the mid west used to make potatoes. Nothing wrong with that. Rich, full of oniony, buttery fried goodness. The wedge salad was great, highlighted by large chunks of fresh bleu cheese and their trademark bacon. Their bacon is something else. That could be a meal in and of itself. Three very thick cut strips of perfectly cooked and rendered bacon. While I'm typically not a saucy kind of guy, a dab of the Luger sauce definitely added a layer of contrasting flavor to the bacon. What really stood out however was the service. I had made a 7pm reservation three months out and we were quickly seated in the front dining room. It was not a problem, but I asked the host if we could get a table deeper into the restaurant. The host checked and told us it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I declined as it was no big deal, I was mainly curious is all. The host asked for our drink order. When she returned she told us our drinks were on the house for the inconvenience! Honestly there was no malfeasance on their part, yet they saw fit to go above and beyond. The ambiance of Peter Luger is more of the classic steakhouse experience. Large arm chairs/seats, dark wood and darker moody lighting. Quite the opposite of say STK. That was fine with me. The ambiance befits the service and quality of the food. A tip: make reservations. The further out the better, especially if you're going on the weekends.

Caesars palace is determined to make this location NY only spot!!! Used to be RAO's now the never before PETER LUGER!! Not sure where to start but everything about this meal was on point and perfect! From the moment you check in with hostess at the front, walking into the restaurant, sitting down, ordering, getting served, packed togos and paid my bill... everything was PERFECTTTTTT. All of the staffs were courteous and attentive, steaks, salad & potato were delicious and we will absolutely return!

3/26/24 - Our first time here. We made reservations a week prior for 8pm. Looking back, we should have made it at 6pm. The total dining experience was around 3 hours. We left stuffed. Scott, the wister was excellent. We ordered the following: 1 Brooklyn Dirty Martini for $25, 1 Crab Cake for $40, 1 fried potato, aka fries for $17 and 1 Steak for two to be cooked medium. The bread came out and it was good. They are fast with water refills. We asked for tap water, aka house water to save money. Not bottle water. We checked in at 7:20am and we were sitted around 8:05 pm. The dirty martini was the best I ever had. I buy this throughout the world. The crab cake was large and the best I've ever had. I've lived on the east coast and west coast and I was shocked. The fries were good and we ate only about 1/3 of them. They can be shared with up to 4 persons. Lastly, the steak arrived more medium rare than medium and we sent it back. Came back medium to medium well. We should have just asked for 1 steak to share. Far too much food we ordered. If a party of two, one appetizer and the steak is enough. Any more you can't eat. The steak was a combo of a porterhouse and ribeye and they cut it for you for presentation. Their house sauce wasn't desirable, tasted like cocktail sauce. The side sauce for the crab cake was superior. We asked for cream horseradish and it was excellent. The cappuccinos were superb! 5 stars overall. Check photos. Prices are listed in the photo for the menu. No prices on line I could locate. The total bill was around $260. We would have saved about $75 by just ordering 1 pizza. Next time we will do this. One of our most expensive meals we have purchased.

Located inside of Caesars Palace right by Bacchanal Buffet, my group of 5 came to dinner at Peter Luger's a few weeks back. Reservations were made a week or so in advance. We got to the restaurant a tad early, so we did have to wait a little while they got our table ready. Our servers were great, we got everything for our table to share: -Steak for Two (this is a porterhouse cut - tenderloin and T-bone), hubby liked pieces from this steak more. -Ribeye for Two, my favorite since I love ribeye in general. -Sliced Tomatoes & Onions - I do not like typically like raw onion and I'm not positive if they did anything to these onion slices, but they weren't pungent and paired really well with their Luger sauce + the bacon slices help to add a salty-savory dimension to this appetizer. -Loaded Baked Potato - hearty and good. Can never go wrong with a loaded baked potato. -Creamed Spinach & Broccoli (a few large florets) - was nice to have some greens to pair with all the red meat. -Complimentary bread was good too. Their steak sauce (Luger sauce), I don't know the name...but the best way to describe it is a horseradish+cocktail sauce+(a1) steak sauce mixed all together. Slightly sweet, small kick, a bit tangy. It paired so well with the steaks and even some of our appetizers (tomato & onion) and breads. We got a couple of desserts to share, both were good...but I think I liked the hot fudge sundae more. -"Holy Cow" Hot Fudge Sundae -Apple Strudel Restrooms located inside the restaurant to the side of the bar are (3) individual unisex ones. If they're occupied, you can always go outside to the restrooms by Bacchanal. Parking at Caesars Palace is flat rate $23, I believe. Service is fairly quick, and they're on top of refilling drinks, Luger sauce, etc. and served our slices of steak to the women at our table first (chivalry, yay! haha). Will be back for future Vegas visits. :)

One of theee beat steakhouses on the strip! Simple ingredients cooked to perfection with usda prime cuts. For starters we tried the shell fish tower which had crab, lobster, jumbo shrimp and kumimoto oysters with a vinaigrette. The Caesar salad dressing was perfect then shared a jumbo crab cake and peters famous bacon. Between courses we did a scheduled tour of the meat locker led by Teddy covering the process and history where they dry aged their steaks then back to the table for our steak for 2. Strip and filet cuts from the porterhouse were cooked to perfection with butter on top. The manager Jamil checked in us service was phenomenal both servers Scott and Andrew made our meal amazing. Jon the somm paired a nice French red Bordeux that was not dry and paired well. Overall one of kind experience kudos to the culinary team everything was flavorful and amazing!

I heard a lot about the restaurant before going and was a little disappointed. The steak was not as flavorful as I expected. The best was the cocktail sauce for the shrimp, the cream spinach and the Luger whipped cream!

Had dinner at Peter Luger's tonight. Pretty good but nothing compared to the Luger's in Brooklyn. Service was good and medium rare is more like medium here. We enjoyed the bacon appetizer as it was just like the one in New York. The crab cakes, steak for 2, wedge salad and Holy Cow Sundae with homemade shlag whipped cream were delicious. Next time, I would skip the creamed spinach and the German potatoes as they were just ok. Overall a nice experience if you live on the west coast and are missing the real deal, this will scratch the itch.

We really wanted to like this place.Seventeen years in the making, this is the first Peter Luger outside of New York for the brand. But our meal was, to say the least, uneven and underwhelming. When we sat down, the waiter took our entire order- cocktails, bottle of wine, apps and salad and entrees. Who does that? It was rapid speed! The cocktails came out at the same time as the salads and the appetizers. Then the wine five minutes ( no exaggeration) later. We had to tell them to slow down! We felt rushed. I don't eat red meat ( I know lol) but the waiter told me that the salmon was amazing. Fast forward to the meal and everyone is eating their shared porterhouse and I have nothing. They forgot my order. By then, I didn't want it. They did give us a dessert but the whole experience was a letdown. Stay away until until get their act together. There are too many amazing restaurants in Vegas to pay $700 for an average and uneven meal.

This food was a whole experience. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Also, who knew whip cream, aka schlag, is so delicious you just eat it with a spoon.

Dover sole was bland and full of bones (should not be breaded). Far too much butter on steak.

Definitely more upscale than the Brooklyn location, but also not as good. The ambiance is nice and what you would expect from a Vegas version of Peter Luger. Two major differences between the original and this location. This location accepts credit cards and also serves seafood towers. The waiters were great, but not the old-school waiters that you get in Brooklyn. We were a party of five and we ordered a steak for three in a medium rare and it was plenty to feed us. Noted the steak is kind of thick, so medium rare definitely had a lot of red in it. If you want something more balanced, you might want to go with a medium. In addition to that we had the Caesar salad, a large shrimp cocktail (served 6)... these were massive shrimp! Creamed spinach and Peter Luger German potatoes were also delicious. The potatoes were basically cubed with sautéed onions, and then fried together. Much more tasty than the standard french fries. All of this, along with the house bread was plenty filling.

Steak was excellent, but not necessarily worth the higher price of most other LV steak restaurants. Caesar Salad was absolutely nothing special...no fresh parmesan cheese or anchovies. Bread tasted stale. The special sauce was weird. Bartender forgot our drinks. We would not return.

Great spot for our group of 9 March Madness buddies. Perfect end of a great trip. Steaks and sides and salads superb. Great great service. Excellent cocktails. Even the 2 guys who got fish dishes loved it. German potatoes amazing. Shared a few crab cakes appetizer and they were great. Shared a fruit & “schlag dessert even though we were all busting out of our pants. $220 including a very generous gratuity for our team. Well deserved. We'll be back!

Steak was perfect. The German style potatoes and creamed spinach are out of the world. The bacon is an absolute must. Nice work! I've been to the NYC restaurant a couple times and on par.

Great steak place had to try. Was worth the wait. Everything was great tasting and seasoned very well. Was totally full but wanted to finish everything but couldn't. Nice ambiance on a Friday night. Would definitely go again and would recommend to any steak lover.
