BEWARE This place isnt what it used to be. This used to be my go to place for chinese food. Been about a year since I've been here, stopped for lunch. Lady had to unlock the door for me, no menu, no customers, all she had was fried rice, i said ok. As i was sittin there waiting for the food, i knew i made a mistake, i was right. As i was drivin back to work, rice smelt burnt, at a stoplight i decided to try a piece of chicken in the rice, it was spoiled. Spit it right back in the bag, NEVER AGAIN

It’s a to-go restaurant so atmosphere isn’t applicable. :) I pre-ordered dim sum (har gow, shumai both shrimp and pork, wontons and Chinese donuts and char siu bao (steamed and baked)) for my mother’s 80th birthday party. It was fresh and ready when I picked up and everybody enjoyed it! Since my mom grew up in Hong Kong and we had family visiting, I thought this was the most appropriate food choice, They said it had the most authentic taste and texture of any dim sum places out here! The sizes are bigger than normal dim sum places and the quality is just as good. I’ve always been sensitive to ammonia in old char siu bao and there was no bad or off tasting meat at all. The har gow isn’t on the visible menu, but it’s made in-house and absolutely delicious. Even my son could eat all the dumplings since there is no hidden soy! (He has soy allergies). The shu mai is the right texture- both pork and shrimp. Very tasty and one or two is enough for one person. And the youtiao is fresh baked and is a cross between a French cruller , an American funnel cake and a regular Chinese donut. I ordered the wontons just boiled instead of fried- they were perfect.Go in person to order for a party. Their son is very nice and speaks English.I wish I had taken photos before everything got eaten!!!! I only got a pic of when I was picking up and after I made a bowl of congee (that’s the Chinese donut- youtiao in the bowl)Dietary restrictions: Shu mai, wontons and har gow had no soy added which is authentic and safe for people with soy allergies!

You know when Chef David Chang said the best take out places have 3.5 star? Well, let me tell you this place is it! They got pounds of chicken laying out for who knows what for and crap laying around on tables. You know this place is legit. The husband and I spend about $60 for 4 dishes which also came with white rice, it lasted us 4 meals EACH. We ordered bok choi with mushrooms, egg foo young, mixed fried rice and eggplant with tofu. 1) Bok choi with mushroom - normally my husband hates this kind of mushroom because he thinks it tastes like dirt but he actually loved it! Next time I go, I must find out their secret!2) Egg foo young - this had a ton of meats and a few shrimp. This does not look like your normal flat egg foo young, it looks more like giant omelet with vegetables and a ton of meat on top. The gravy was delicious.3) Mixed fried rice - lots of meat, nothing special4) Eggplant with fried tofu - delicious oily and juicy eggplant. Will order again!

Pork hash! Shrimp hash!! That is all I have to say. Total bang for your buck for those items.

I didn't take any pics.. was too busy eating the food I ordered before I could take any pics.. oopsOur order consisted of char siu chow fun, half of a duck, steamed manapua, baked manapua and honey walnut shrimp. All made to order. Had to wait awhile, but worth the wait. Oh, and we also ordered these gargantuan pork hash.. these were onolicious (drool).Out of all the Chinese restaurants I've eaten from, This is the best one by far..
