From the busyness of the strip to a Gem in Summerlin. RoadRunner Cafe is a Spring of great Comfort food with an appetizing Hawaiian Menu. Our family had ordered multiple dishes and shared: the Ahi Katsu, Beef Stew, Ahi Nacho Poke and Chicken Picatta. Hands down-- RoadRunner Cafe makes the best Ahi Katsu and Nacho Poke I've ever had. The average bear would not even know the Roadrunner Cafe is there. Clearly geared towards patrons, patients and guests of Cure for the Kids and Roseman University, this cafe is open to the public, even if you are not visiting one of these spots on the former campus of Nevada Cancer Institute. I have a girlfriend who works in the building and I have reason to stop in with her most Fridays to have lunch and visit. Chef James knocked it out of the park this weekend when he and the Roadrunner Manager, Tarah, catered a special event for Impact Las Vegas. They created a wonderful and affordable buffet for our group, set it out beautifully, with a yogurt bar, several choices of fresh fruit and egg sandwiches. The egg sandwiches were fantastic, I finally found a place that actually toasts the English muffin properly!
