What's the best guilty pleasure food in the world? Fried chicken What makes it so delectable? The chicken skin. Well there you have it. The best starter in the world has been invented by Carson Kitchen. Get the Fried Chicken Skins. They are a heavenly pleasure complemented with honey to drizzle or dip as you fancy. I loved the deviled eggs. Plain simple and fresh with some fancy caviar atop. The warm spinach salad was good. I it seemed not to wilt as I'd expect. Maybe we should have let it rest a bit. Still good. The polenta and Mexican corn was ok. It has a vinegary pickley profile so if you like that as I do, it's for you. If not, maybe pick another dish. Drinks were perfectly prepared. The service was polite, prompt, and friendly (thanks Kendal). Management was present and involved with each dish that came out of the kitchen. The chefs kept up with the busy pace and put their heart into everything. Come here. We did- IMHO lunch is better in terms of having the same great quality food without the frenetic dinner vibe. To each his own.

I had a chance to travel outside of the strip in Las Vegas and visit Carson kitchen. There is no parking lot for this restaurant so we had to find nearby parking. It wasn't that crowded in the area so parking was easy to find. We arrived at 5:30 exact for our reservation. We were seated, right away, and water was brought to the table. Our server explained the menu to us and how everything was on small plates, and that the food comes out as it is done. We ordered the famous chicken skins, the butter burger from the handheld menu and the short rib flatbread pizza. The chicken skins were amazing. We really enjoyed them. My husband really enjoyed his butter burger, and the tater tots that came on the side were amazing. They were cooked perfectly, and had a nice crunch to them, and were seasoned perfectly as well. I really enjoyed the flatbread pizza. The sauce that was on the top was really good and flavorful. Overall all the items that we had were delicious and the reason for my four stars is because our server was a tad slow although the restaurant was not that busy. There were times where we had to wait for her to finish with other customers that Were seated outside, but then there were also times where she was standing nearby talking and we had to wait. If I am ever back in town again, I would love to return and try some other items on the menu.

5's all around for the food. I only wish I was hungrier and could try more. Really interesting and delicious food. Clearly they have a creative chef. Ever have crispy chicken skins with honey? You need to try these to make your life complete. Deviled eggs... so what right? Wrong. I don't know what his secret is but these were incredibly creamy, delicate and tasty. Caviar on top, but I don't think that's what made the special. Must be some secret ingredient. Killer shrimp were creamy and a tad bit of spice if you enjoyed them with the red peppers. They reminded me of honey glazed walnut shrimp from Chinese restaurants; maybe the texture. The short rib steak was prepared perfectly and the tangy pesto put out over the top for me. Sat at the bar cuz I didn't have reservations. The bartenders were super nice and good conversationalists. Trendy and cozy little place. Can't wait to come back again.

Short rib and mac and cheese were amazing. Apps - chicken skins and killer shrimp weren't as great as expecting, pretty average. Drinks were average. Nice atmosphere and service.

Carson's Kitchen in Las Vegas is a culinary gem! The green bean tempura is a must-try, crispy and flavorful. Menu is unique and appeals to all tastes. We did order a few cocktails but they were kind of bland??? Don't miss out on the glazed donut bread pudding, it's absolutely divine, a perfect blend of indulgence and sweetness. Highly recommend!
