I give this place 4 stars because they set us at a table that was broken. The place was quit empty. Took quit a bit of time for our order to come out. I ordered the Oxtail plate with rice and a side of fufu bread. Oxtails and rice were EXCELLENT. Will go back for that. I didn't really care for the fufu bread.

The costs are extremely high for the product offered. The egusi is mostly oil and tomato sauce and barely any fufu. Tables and seats had crumbs on them like they hadn’t been wiped down in days. Yuck!

They ripped me off as a vendor and they are now ripping off customers. Read the reviews before you go. Stale overpriced food and the owner is a crook. I did electrical work there and they still owe me $750. They were shut down when they ran a counciling service for "Billing" issues. When I say they, I am referring to Eudora. Her husband is a good man but can't handle this broad.

The prices are different from the menu and they definitely need to fix that. I got an order of fufu that tasted like unseasoned mashed potatoes in dough form. I got beef on a stick that was dry, tough, and had no flavor as well. Then the woman charged me 7 dollars for a bowl of jollof rice when I only wanted a side order. It tasted like some rice I could have made out of a package. I hate to be harsh but I expected much more from an African restaurant.

Food was okay but extremely expensive. Ended up paying $250 for dinner for 4 people. And the service took almost 2 hours for our food to get out.

What a rip off I'll never order food from this place again. Place a 60 dollars order for the smallest portion of food I've ever seen paid 8 dollars for five slices plantains the suya is two inches long and the pounded yam can fit in my palms. Plus on top of all that I waited 2 hours... I'm ashamed I spent money here and will be sure to put a review on every possible platform... Disgraceful

i called and "ordered" ahead of time im the type of person who likes to pull up & just get my food & bounce lol.. i arrive when i thought it would be done. the owner (taller guy w/ glasses) comes out from back & goes "you here for the party?" i go "no, im here for pick up, i placed an order for Fufu Egusi" he goes "oh. you called?" i go "yea..." he goes "ugh, hold on, i got you" so i wait & some lady comes from the bag with a tied bag of food (mine). my girl friend was with me & he goes "and what for you?" she's like "im not getting anything" long story short he gave her a free bowl of goat egusi & tried to charge only me for both bowls of soup (mine & hers) it was $13 for ea. i go "how much??" he goes "just gimme $26" no receipt, no thanks for dining with me, just a scam bcuz he was more attracted to my friend (he was flirting with me when i first sat down he didnt know we were together) i had my friend pay for her food, & i separately paid for mine. $13 each.. this place had flies & weird/shitty customer service & the restroom was dirty. try the african cuisine somewhere else, save urself some time, money & miles on ur car.. trust me. smh all i wanted was the food i wasnt even dining in!

The food was descent which is way I gave them 3stars but the service was beyond terrible. Empty restaurant, took over 30mins to just take our order and give us our drinks. was only 3 tables being used and we were one of them. Waitress didn't even know the menu. Tried charging us extra for something that already comes with the dish. We asked for yams instead gives us fufu telling me that the fufu was the yams. When clearly its not the same thing. Let's not forget charging us for water. Expensive dishes for small portions. Top 5 worst restaurant experiences

I'd give it a 0 stars if I could. Go at your own risk. We waited an hour to be told they were out of food then the waitress told me she didn't like my attitude when I told her I was charged for something I didn't receive...she then tried to fight me. I've NEVER had an experience like that before. The restaurant stayed empty the entire two hours we were there and now I know why. Another couple walked out after waiting about 40 min with NO SERVICE. Any good review on there is staged. Stay away.

I went here for the first time, they charge $25 for tasteless egusi soup and then the pounded yam that came with it was so small that a 4 yr old will not be full from it, and also they didn't cook it right because the consistency was like I was eating powder. As much as I love to support my people, I can't keep quiet on this one, especially at the price point.

Amazing food! All the staff is friendly and so helpful. Wish I could give 10 stars! Again food is beyond amazing, so much flavor and nice portions.
