Before the covid closure by the original owners and their retirement this restaurant had 5 stars. It felt like a welcoming cozy family italian restaurant. And the food was outstanding. The service was the best. This new place is horrible the decor is cheap, casual and tacky and should be at a casual seaside restaurant on a deck.I'm surprised they don't serve you on plastic plates! It's colors are blue and cold. The food is not very good, cheap, I would say their sauces are from jars. It makes you want to eat as fast as you can and get out of there. Sad they were allowed to use the Spiedini name this is not Spiedini in any shape, way or form. Looks like others also feel as I do. Sad.

Not as good as it pretends to be. Maybe it's ok if you grab a pizza and a beer, but that's it. Service was bad, once they finally remembered us. It was very loud. Over priced food. We were seated at a very small table against the wall and the people around us kept bumping into our chairs- cramped. Gave us a large fork to eat with mussels. Pasta was gummy. Steak was overdone. Sauces were a mediocre, at best. Waitress forgot my drink and later, didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert or coffee. The list goes on... Amateur hour. I'd skip it. Never going back.

The Pasta in one dish was too aldente, rosito primavera was inconsistent from past orders and not as well prepared. Drinks didn't taste the same. Servers were good, but nothing special.

The ambience was fine, though not as elegant as I’d hoped based on the pics. It was fairly busy and many guests were in casual attire despite it being Valentine’s Day at dinner time. The server seemed extremely overwhelmed like she had most of the tables in the restaurant but my husband felt she was just inefficient and not utilizing her bus staff, at the expense of providing timely and professional service to us. She did eventually refill our waters, but his was empty twice, and she never asked if we wanted anything to drink other than water. The plates of food looked elegant and the beef Wellington and special zucchini appetizer were delicious. My shrimp scampi however was fairly bland despite the server having told us it was one of the most popular dishes. The calamari was satisfactory in taste, except for the fact that my husband ended up chomping on a piece of fried lemon (including the rind) that looked like another piece of calamari. This threw off his taste buds for a while. The valentines dessert was some strange hard type of thing that was difficult to eat and when the bill came out we had been charged for an extra beef Wellington ($59). And there appeared to be a manager running around the store, but she was busing tables when it wasn’t even that busy rather than actually checking in with guests, so we had no opportunity to tell her about all these issues. Overall not a great experience and would not go back.

Had to ask three times for soft drink and water. Waitress apologizing to customers for having so many tables and bus people not really helping. Hostess at front brought soft drink and water.

Fettucini and Osso Buco were excellent - lobster bisque soup just adequate (little tiny bits of lobster and lots of croutons). Service very very good and view out the windows to the pool and garden area especially pleasant.

We were seated at a great table right at the window overlooking the garden. Our server Heather was just great n funny too. I had the lobster bisque n beef wellington which was done perfectly n very generous portions. My husband had the branzino which was also just wonderful. Wonderful experience

The service is excellent, and the food, especially the small plates are great. I especially like the calamari and zucchini sticks. If I just have a house salad and entree, I am able to have a little dessert...sorbet or gelato. Very nice way to end the meal. My husband and I have been to this restaurant four times, and we have had a great experience each time. CKB

Dined here for many years. When it was owned by Gustav it was delicious ? Now just a regular Italian restaurant. Went for Valentine's Day with my family and it was not the best experience. Wine was great. Service slow! Food runner was extremely rude. Chopped salad was nothing like before, was a regular salad, very disappointed! Margherita pizza needed more flavor, tasteless. Chicken piccata tasted solely like lemon, chicken needed salt! Ordered a affogato for dessert and laughed when I got it. Hostess was eating at her counter on my way out when I approached her.. All in all my experience this time was terrible and I will not return in the future.

Let me start by saying, my husband and I have dined at Spiedini in the past. This evening was quite a disappointment. When we arrived 10 minutes (7:05) early for our reservation, we were told we could not be seated because our reservation was for 7:15. Upon being seated, we ordered drinks and appetizers (bruschetta) it took 40 minutes to get 3 bitesize pieces of toast with tomatoes on it. Next came the entrees, my husband ordered the chicken marsala and he loved it. I on the other hand ordered shrimp scampi, much to my surprise, it was buttered noodles with 5 tiny shrimp on top. If you ask why we did not complain, it was because we did not see the waitress again until it was time for the check. What a disappointment! We will have to think twice before going back.

Was seated at our table first when they first opened. We were given water and bread by the bus person. We then sat for over 15 minutes. We were all talking but then realized a server had never come to our table to introduce themselves and or take a drink order. We noticed all the people around us that arrived after us already had their drinks and were eating salad When I realized, I flagged down the hostess. Within 5 minutes our server showed up. She was flustered and apologized. I didn't think she knew she was supposed to wait our table. That's no excuse for the establishment. Throughout our time there the service continued to be poor. I was flagging down the bus boy whenever there was something needed at the table. I even had trouble trying to get our bill. Our server just never came by the table or made eye contact with us.

The food was subprime. Lacked flavor, too much chili peppers in the shrimp dinner and the lobster sauce was very bland and not creamy enough for the noodles. We've had these same dishes on other occasions and they were great. Maybe the chef was having an off night. The atmosphere and service staff are always on point. Thanks Heather We will come back another time and try something different for dinner.

Something has drastically changed. Chopped salad now not finely chopped. Presentation of salad is sloppy and not “bowled” as before. Shrimp appetizer features small shrimp at a higher price. Three requests necessary for more butter. $19.00 for mediocre glass of house wine. A call vodka martini now $19.00. Seriously increased prices and smaller portions on full menu items, exorbitant alcohol prices, and a decline in service are some of the reasons we will not be returning. New management and new chefs will cause the demise of this once outstanding restaurant. It's been nice.

Everything was just average. Service was okay, they don't pick up dirty plates or refill water. They are very nice. Food, not bad, but not great. Too many other places in Vegas to go back. Was better prior to Covid.
