Not too sweet, cake texture is soft, love the tato paste filling. They give a cute cake box. I only bought extra sand sugar to decorate a little more.

I love bakeries, I've worked at one before and I've been to tons. After coming here I've come to a realization that I enjoy Chinese owned bakery shops more than others. It's just more rich in flavor in my opinion. I literally come here 3 - 4 times a week to grab a snack before work. It's usually empty which is great so service is super fast and parking is always easy peasy so I'm in and out. It's small and the ambience is not fancy like the other ones but who cares about that when you're baking quality delicious items. I go there so much that the Chinese lady knows exactly what I want haha. A hidden gem hole in the wall type of place but without the hole just amazing goodies. My only issue is sometimes they run out of things that I want. Boo hoo!

The bread is pretty good. The people who work there are nice in general. Will visit again if I am in the area.

This is my go to Chinese bakery in Las Vegas. They have the very traditional buns that I grew up in Hong Kong with: pineapple bun 菠蘿包, cocktail bun 鷄尾包, cream bun with shredded coconut 奶油包, ham and egg bun 火腿蛋包, BBQ pork bun 焗义燒包, sausage bun 腸仔包, etc. They all taste delicious and fresh; and prices are the best in Las Vegas compared to similar bakeries. I actually like the fact that they only display one sample of each type. That way other customers don't get their hands on the products. They are individually wrapped but it's still more hygienic if not handled by too many people. The lady at the counter is always nice and courteous and efficient. I am glad I found this bakery.

Be very wary of your cash here. Ordered two pork buns ($4.50 total), handed over a $20 bill and two quarters, the woman was on the phone the whole time, and mindlessly (I hope - giving her the benefit of the doubt that she wasn't a thief) handed me a $10 bill and continued to just talk on the phone. Had to get her attention by waving in her face, since she was ignoring my verbal complaint, and then she gave me the other $6. As for the pork buns, they were delicious but we took them home and heated them (350-degree oven for 12 minutes or so). Had we eaten them immediately, they would not have been nearly as good as they were room temperature.

I've been on a quest to find good baked Chinese pork buns at a local Chinese bakery, and today, my husband and I happened to stop into Sunville Bakery. I was delighted to see that they sold them, and my husband and I decided to purchase two ($2.25 each). The woman who "helped" us answered her phone just as we started our order, never asked us if we wanted them hot or cold (which they do at Diamond Bakery - and I don't even know if they offer them hot at Sunville Bakery), and she never stopped having her personal conversation. She could barely be bothered to ring us up or look at us during the transaction, and then, she not only gave my husband less change than was due (he gave her $20.50 for a $4.50 order, and she gave him $10 back), she wouldn't respond as he tried to get her attention to correct the error. It really made us feel unwelcome. When we got home, I heated the pork buns (on a Silpat at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes), and we had what were the best pork buns I've had in Las Vegas. The dough was pillowy, and the roasted pork was delicious. They reminded me of the pork buns I've gotten in Chinatown in New York City. After the rude service in the store, I really wanted to dislike the product, but I couldn't. Food: 5 out of 5 stars Service: 1 out of 5 stars

I got there late so there wasn’t much variety. Their pork bun sandwich was nice. I also got mini sausage sandwiches and vanilla sponge cake. They also do wedding cakes. Small shop, very clean, cashier seemed nice.

I have had my bad experiences with them and so thought of posting it publicly.1. For my son’s birthday, they forgot to bake the cake. They asked us an hour later to pick it up. We asked them to deliver it as we had guests at home. They asked us to pay $10 for delivery. The cake that we got was different from the order placed. We noticed it when we opened it while cutting the cake.2. We purchased a cake and made payment for it. While we were at the store like in two minutes of making the payment, we decided to buy a different cake. We asked them if we could return the one that we purchased and buy another one. The lady owner denied to take the cake back.3. Once the total bill was less than $10. She said pay in cash as she will not accept card for less than $10. We have to unnecessarily make it more than $10 as we didn’t have cash. We had $3 and the pastry was $3.5. We asked her to accept $3. She denied.4. I was with my lil one who was in a need to use the restroom. I requested her if he could use her restroom. She denied. Though I understand the restroom at her bakery is not for public but sometimes we must try to understand other’s situation also. After so many instances of misbehavior I have now decided never to visit it again. The lady is too rude and arrogant.

flavor is decent but everything is just sooooo oily and a little pricey for how oily it is.

Traditional Chinese bakery with all of the good stuff. Quality items and good service.

They had just opened, and a lady immediately told us that we needed to move our car. Apparently parking in front of the store is for pick up orders only (there are no obvious signs stating this). The manner she spoke in was exceedingly rude and unnecessary. We decided to go somewhere else for baked goods. Please be nicer to your customers.

If you're looking for a horrible attitude and service, then definitely buy here.

I literally came here 2 days in a row! The Red Bean Bun and the Scallion and Ham Bun have to be my favorites. I also like the Red Bean Moon Cake and BBQ Pork Bun. They are all packed with flavor and very delicate at the same time. The bread is super tender. Service is very prompt and the interior is cutely decorated.
