I purchased 8 tacos but they forgot 2 of them. Extremely annoying and disappointed especially because I literally waited 30 min for my order. They don't pick up their phone either. I called multiple times before heading there to avoid waiting in person, no one picked up or it was a busy signal. Once I got home, I found out they only gave me 6 tacos. I tried calling to inform them but they didn't pick up the phone obviously. I also live far from the restaurant (just happened to be in the area for something else), so it's not feasible for me to just go and get my food.Tacos are very small too. I know in this economy folks want to buy cheapish/affordable tacos. But remember: you get what you pay for. My partner got a tripe (tripa) taco and she couldn't eat it after 1 bite. Said it was hard and grainy, almost like there was dirt inside. And mind you, we both love tripe and know what tripe should taste like.

Food/Taste/ - Platos de 5 tacos (#2) and Compita Nachos with Birria. The tacos were delicious overall! The cabeza was tender and flavorful but the tripas were boiled and a bit queasy as they weren't cleaned well. The nachos were generous in serving size but the shredded beef was inconsistent as some pieces were quite dry. - not sure if language issue or the cashier just didn't care. After we ordered but before we paid, I realized that the cost was higher than expected and was trying to figure out why it's almost a $2.50 difference. We finally figured out that we ordered a Birria Nachos (#10) but he rung it up as a Compita Nacho (#18) with Birria (shredded beef). We tried to explain that we wanted number 10 and showed him a picture of the menu. He walked around the cash register and looked at the menu as well. When he went back to the cash register, he took the next guest. When he was done with the guest, he just asked if we wanted to order or not. If there's no difference between the two items, they should remove the cheaper one to prevent communication issues again. - looks like the store was recently repainted and updated but some older signs are still hanging up. The tables and salsa bar could use some wiping though.Value for - decent food at a slightly higher price point compared to other shops we recently visited. Unfortunately, the price difference for the nachos soured our visit immediately. Do note they only called order numbers in Spanish so brush up on your language skills...

Absolutely loved my experience at Tacos El Compita! The asada tacos were bursting with flavor – tender, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and the tortillas were just right. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. Can't wait to go back for more!

I never get a chance to take a picture of the food I order here. As soon as I get my plate .. it's on ! Favorite tacos here are the tacos de cabeza and tripa. Their carne asada is on point as well. They keep it simple .. your meat of choice and if you want everything on it they add onion and cilantro. I tried their Pozole this time around and I was surprised by how much meat they put in it. The salsa bar has red and green salsas, jalapeños , limes , radishes and some habanero onions. The line can be long around lunchtime but it is worth the wait.. I'm probably here too often but I have not left disappointed. Ok compita.. see you next week !!
The real deal here, I had two steak tacos, rice and beans and a drink for around $10 bucks. Fast, friendly and deliciously authentic . Growing up in So Cal this kind of food is readily available everywhere, the Vegas options are fewer but this one is near the top of the list.It's a glorified taco stand that has a lot of room. They could use some help keeping tables cleaned and would appreciate it if the food prep guys would shout order numbers in a loud and proud kind of way. Me and others were left guessing what order goes to who?Now that I've been initiated I'm looking forward to going back.

I'm absolutely in love with this place! The carne asada burrito hands down best in town. I see birria tacos up for order constantly and they look yummy, can't wait to try them but for now I'm stuck on the burritos. There's a few locations through out the valley! Treat yourself!
