Actually really sad the place is closing (for now?). Some of the best sour beers we’ve ever tasted, which is saying a heck of a lot. Ambiance and local ownership were also a huge plus. Can’t wait to see where this goes next.

Brewers Row starts here. My wife and I were excited to explore the area and we are glad that we started with The Mad Fermentist. It's less of a brewpub and more of a small tasting room. Patrick was our very cool bartender and we had so much fun hanging out with him on a hot weekday afternoon. They had some outstanding and unusually-flavored sours on tap that day and I think that we tried them all. We also couldn't resist the strong barleywine even though it was 100 degrees outside! Are you a back-to-basics kind of beer drinker? Don't worry, their lager is excellent, too. It's a safe bet that we shall return the next time that we visit Vegas. The Mad Fermentist is the crown jewel of Brewers Row. N.B.: TMF is located above Three Sheets Craft Beer Bar, which happened to be closed when we visited (Tuesday).

Delicious beer, hip gear, nice space.

The best beer in downtown Las Vegas. The craft brew scene is better because of this place. A must for every craft beer aficionado who comes to Vegas.

Yo! This is a must stop for those who love the beer scene with unique flavor profiles. If you want the most adventurous flavors with a bar tender to match, stop by and drink! These brothers who run the operation are killing the game! Best spot in the Downtown area!

Go upstairs and have the best beers ever. If you're lucky you'll get to speak with the Mad Fermentist himself.

Soooo sad to hear they will be leaving this location around august . This brewery is soo good . They take chances with their beer and you can tell . They use such unique ingredients. Carl is the man and knows everything about their brewing styles .

I really enjoy their energy and imagination with their ingredients they use in their beers. The bartenders are also very friendly and enthusiastic about their beer. It's basically an open-air 2nd floor Las Vegas brewed beer bar. Thee are growlers and merchandise for sale, too. Great heavy metal tunes playing at the bar in this visit.

While visiting Vegas, my friends and I were looking for breweries to try, so we tried Mad Fermentist. Mad Fermentist is near a bunch of other breweries and defiantly worth visiting. The brewery is a small taproom with at least 10 beers on tap when we went. I got a sampler and all of the beers were excellent. What made Mad Fermentist awesome though, was the bartender. I don't remember his name, but he was full of awesome stories and made our time at Mad Fermentist very enjoyable. Along with awesome conversation, the bartender had one of the best beards I've ever seen and he informed us that he's actually been in beard competitions internationally. The prices were also reasonable. Overall, when I come back to Vegas, I'm defiantly visiting Mad Fermentist again!

Quality Beer! Fantastic!!! POG, Barley Wine, Porter, and first anniversary beers do not disappoint. Stop in upstairs for a beer or six. They are ALL good.

This is a sour/fruity beer fan's dream brewery! I tried the melodious staccato beer which had cherry and lime incorporated. It was absolutely fantastic. I also recommend letting the bartender make you a special mix of their beers if you can't decide what to get. The inside of the bar is definitely on the small side, but there is plenty or outdoor space to sit and enjoy your craft beer!
