Showed up to eat there, and the doors were locked. It's sad, because I had been there many times and always enjoyed it.

What is going on? Is this place closed for good? I have been there 3 times during their business hours and they are closed. Anyone know what is going on?

Made reservations for out of town guests. We showed up at 11:20am for a 11:30am reservation and the place was closed no signage to say why and when we called their number message said phone number was no longer in service! It would have been nice to have the restaurant call us to let us know they were not open so we did not waste our time and gasoline to come here for nothing!!!

We walked into the door of this restaurant and a piece of the door was hanging in front of my face. Someone came and moved it once we walked in.We asked for a table for 2 and were told “a big party just left so they have to bus a table”. The person we spoke to left and didn’t bus the table. We stood at the entrance for over 5 minutes and left.

Had to send omelet back for being over cooked, then when the new omelet came it didn't have all the ingredients in it. You only get one slice of toast?.

A friend asked me to join him here for lunch and I was excited because I had always wanted to eat here.Arrived before noon, it wasn't too busy maybe only 4 or 5 tables. I was greeted and seated after a couple minutes but didn't receive a menu until after almost 5 minutes. There appeared to be 2 servers, possibly a third but I found out later the third was the wife of the owner. My friend arrived and we finally got a menu but it was another 5-10 minutes before we got to order. I was already upset by the service but just followed my friends lead as he raved about the food. I ordered the Reuben based on a recommendation from my friend but found out they didn't have any pastrami. So I ordered the Italian sub and the waiter told me to wait 30 seconds and he would see if I could get the best sandwich of my life. After a couple more minutes I was informed I could have the Italian. The waiter really seemed aloof and no real sense of urgency or any speed whatsoever. I realized the terrible service level when I heard customers at other tables yelling out for service, even approaching the kitchen window. We received our order and it looked great, generous portions and well presented. My friend had steak and eggs and I was surprised at the portion and cut of the meat. It was properly cooked. My sandwich was tasty, perfect bread and some interesting ingredients. I had ordered no onions but the waiter didn't listen. There was a bit of spice in the sandwich which was unique and delicious. I also had an empty water glass on the table for over 10 minutes until I demanded more water.Overall I enjoyed the food. It was above average and I think if I ordered a few more items, would find something I loved. Unfortunately I don't want to endure the terrible service to get there. The food deserves much better service than what we got. I actually was late for a meeting because the entire lunch took over an hour. Maybe that's ok for dinner but most don't have that time for a lunch. Please let me know when you have better service and I'll come back again and give another write up.

The food tasted great, the service was quick, and the vibe was super casual. Had different kinds of food which is nice when you don't know what to eat.

Amazingly good food, unique breakfast/brunch dishes like their name. We will be back to try more like shrimp and grits. Chef/owner makes own sausages and pastrami! Restaurant changes menu to pizza fare after 3p.
