Vanessa at the front desk is rude and the managers don’t help at all nor does it tell you about hidden fees… haven’t had a tv since we got here won’t change our rooms or fix the tv and can’t sleep with the noise. Luxor is way better just saying and you need to fire that girl at front desk

Never miss the Vue Barbara during my visit. The bartenders make this a must. Jason and Roy are special people and an asset to the "D's" family.

Absolute terrible time at vue bar. we had been there for over an hour, then a worker came up to us and asked us to leave for absolutely zero reason. the man tried to say we had did something wrong yet we were there for over an hour keeping to ourselves. a company my friend works for had this set up with them for a bar crawl, and he was in full drag which had been no issue the whole time. the homophobia is real and a complete joke. you chose to be homophobic in one of the gayest cities in this world. DO BETTER

Big yikes. Super chill birthday event planned for a group of tourists via a (weekly) Drag Queen bar crawl event, and apparently the management at this bar has an issue with the community? You'd think a bar would be happy to have 10-25 people groups on a weekly basis that will be there for an hour (at most, it is a bar crawl) Forcing the group to leave because there was a drag queen with them, and Fully covered/clothed too, is comical.

I will not recommend this place they don't know PUERTO RICO is part of the USA I ask 1 employees and 2 security the same question and the said no we don't know about Puerto Rican funny how people know about LGBTQ but not Puerto Rican this comment I find is from Facebook This happened to me in Vegas. Many bars wouldn’t serve me if I didn’t present a passport because my PR Id was foreign for them. And its not just that. Its the attitude that makes me feel like “this is not just ignorance, it’s disgust”

We chose this hotel because it's on Fremont Street and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are standard hotel rooms, nothing fancy but just what you need from a hotel room. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the standard rooms. Knowing that we're staying on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, it's going to be loud. BUT, we naively stayed at The D not realizing how close it is to one of the concert stages on Fremont Street. Holy cow, the noise is unbelievable!! We stayed on the 8th floor, odd side of the hallway, which faces directly to the stage and it was is if we were attending the concert performing every night, the noise is that incredibly loud. Our other friends were on the even side of the hallway and it was slightly better, but still loud. We got ear plugs (which are offered free at the front desk) and that helped slightly, but you can still FEEL the music, it's just that loud. Not much the hotel can do about this, considering a concert stage is right outside.

I booked a Thur through Tues hotel stay end Feb 2023 and the people are great, but the Hotel is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have traveled over million miles on both Delta and American and so I'm not new to issues, but most time I take things with grain of salt. This trip how ever, was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in as far as noise, except one time in Tampa everything booked and I stayed in $30 night place, all I could fine, with police and gun shots outside. But this stay at the "The D" hotel was really bad. The music was so loud every night, from 8/10pm until 3 AM, I am so tied, it was just terrible. Ruined entire trip - you could only get sleep from like 4am until 8am. The D really screwed their experience up - I would never recommend this Hotel, in fact I think this applies to most hotels on Fremont - STAY AWAY the music is so loud you will NOT get sleep. I am writing this review but I am not done with this issue, I even thinking about legal action, that is how bad it was. I love the idea about Fremont street, they did a great job, but the music is so bad. The music in my Room 1208 was so bad, I had TV on like 55 volume and still had trouble hearing it. This is on the 12th floor - really...... The D should be ashamed - I am warning you - DO NOT STAY AT THE D

Stayed 19-24 Feb. Smallish hotel and casino but very lively and busy, even during the week. I was not able to get my requested quiet room on a high floor but instead got one overlooking the music stage on Fremont, which was loud until around 2am every morning! Rooms are relatively small and have very basic amenities (ie no seating or table, fridge, kettle) but the bathrooms have been refurbished and the shower was great. Casino was buzzing and full of younger types enjoying the Fremont Street vibe. Was a bit annoyed to discover they had no late check-out option, hence the lower rating.

The hotel has a 3 star rating, I would give it a 2 star rating. The beds were lumpy, old outdated rooms. Had a corner king room. The windows were filthy, sink in the bathroom was clogged, the plumber fixed it but housekeeping was never called to clean the bathroom. I had to flag down a maid and asked her to do it myself. I will stay elsewhere next time. very disappointed.

If you want any type of sleep on your trip to Vegas DO NOT stay here. I read the reviews and saw that people complained about the outside noise while trying to sleep but I've had my fair share of noisy strip hotels and brushed off the warnings. I was so d**** the noise level was unlike anything I've ever experienced in a hotel room and it went on until 4am each night. We slept with ear plugs and headphones to try to drown out Fremont St. The room was basic, no frills/no fridge/no microwave, however you could pay a daily fee to have both. The hotel is at a great location but until they sound proof their rooms, I would avoid staying here.
