Even allowing for large party, service was deficient. Drink orders were taken slowly were delivered piecemeal and with multiple errors. Fish and chips: fish was cold and greasy, chips (French fries) were cold, limp, and tasteless. [It was compared unfavorably to Long John Silvers.] Gumbo was fair but lacked authority as did Jambolaya.Food orders were also delivered piecemeal and slow, most delivered warm, at best.Overall food was overpriced, bland, and quality and quantity were short! This is a tourist trap based around the movie, Forrest Gump, with the attendant ridiculously named dishes and drinks.Thoroughly unimpressive, Do Not Recommend!

Service was fantastic as was the clam chowder soup. Main meal, well the rice was horrible, shrimp over cooked. Was offered a replacement meal, we declined, paid and tipped 20 percent. Not recommended.

Food was great, got the Shrimpers Heaven and dip & chips with several cocktails. More than enough for the 2 of us. Plates were dirty. Worse thing was the service! We were completely ignored. Even when I flipped the license plate over (& it was backwards). Our lil blonde waitress with a trainee guy in tow was waiting on bigger parties of 4 or more. Everytime we needed anything, I didn't even see her for 15-20 minutes. I asked for a box and that took 30 minutes, asking twice for it. FYI - Sorry gal, if you didn't get tipped well it was your fault. I was a waitress years ago & I firmly believe you must earn your tips. We've been here several times before & never got such lousy service! I guess the fabulous food was worth it though.

The service was slow to get seated and once sat I waited 8 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Once the server came back and took my order he was fantastic. He recommended the Cajun Maji Maji with shrimp and it was really good. The ambiance on the patio at sunset is awesome.
