“Excited to try the new location . I was surprised to see Detroit style pizza offered on the menu. I'm originally from the Detroit area and have eaten at Buddy's Pizza several times. Buddy's originated Detroit style pizza. I must say Great Basin's pizza is the next best thing to being at Buddy's. The market featuring local meats and other items is a great feature. My only disappointment is the place is so loud (bad acoustics) that it's difficult to have a conversation. Looking forward to warmer weather to take advantage of the large outdoor seating with views of the Sierra.“
“While trotting around the surrounding areas of Tahoe, we ended up in Minden after someone in Genoa recommended this brewery. My husband loved the hand crafted blonde ale. The atmosphere is low key with available games to play. The brewery got its name from all the shoes hanging from the trees. Didn't catch sight of any in the strip mall, but they must've been somewhere!?!“
