Forget the fish and chips. You might as well go buy frozen fish. Sticks and frozen fries forget any cole slaw it no longer comes with the meal.They threw quality out the window in order to keep the price the same. I would rather pay for quality than be served food unfit for a dog. No joke my dog refused to eat it. That was my final visit to the cvi. The service was really good however the food lacked everything. The servings are very small. The eggs tasted like cardboard. The bread was served cold and with butter on the side and wasn't cooked enough. The hash browns were not cooked enough. Everything lacked salt or Pepper or any kind of seasoning. Would not recommend this place. And the steak was tough.

The Chandler Fried Chicken dinner on Sunday evenings is delicious!We have had other items off the menu and all have been great choices as well.Natalie is a great server, too!Tony, in the kitchen, makes great food and cares about the quality delivered to each diner that comes in.For a casino coffee shop, the atmosphere and decor are very pleasant.I wish I could post a picture of our chicken dinner.

On 3/15/24 my family and I ordered food to go from Katie’s. For 24 years I have been eating at Katie’s and the food has in the past been good, even great at times. The food we received last night was absolutely atrocious. You could not pay me to eat the food we were served last night for it was inedible. We will not be returning to the CVI. I hope management will consider hiring more thoroughly because this is unacceptable.

Katie's Kitchen is the backbone of Carson Valley Inn! Down to earth food at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is homey and the service was quick. The Sunday evening fried chicken dinner was excellent! Besides the chicken there were mashed potatoes, biscuits, and cold slaw.

Food was fair. Had prime rib it came out luke warm but our waiter was no where to be found. 1 of our prime ribs came out with the wrong side and the put it in the oven to warm back up. Our waiter NEVER came back to see how our food was and we had to ask for refills. It will be a long time before we go there for dinner
