Totally blown away with the high quality and taste of the food I ordered at Louie's. This was my first visit to their Chinese restaurant, and I can't be happier I decided to finally stop and try them out. I had the Appetizer sampler which included Cream Cheese wontons, egg roll and coconut shrimp. THE BEST coconut shrimp I have ever tried and they included a nice coconut dipping sauce that I have never seen offered anywhere else. For lunch, I ordered Sesame Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. Two totally DIFFERENT flavors - something most Chinese restaurants fail to deliver on. Usually, the different dishes taste the same but are named something different. Louie's delivered two TOTALLY distinct dishes. The Sweet and Sour Pork, which most restaurants usually use the cheaper cuts/pieces of pork that includes hunks of gristle or fat or are breaded so thickly all you ever taste is the breading, NOT Louie's! It was so tender I could cut it with my fork. And the serving and busing staff were friendly, attentive and competent. This will be a definite stop each time I visit Minden/Gardnerville and the yen for Chinese food hits me.

This place has the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever had, save yourself sometime and don't not ever visit this place. The fried rice, which I had to pay extra for, tasted like wet socks smell. The Orange chicken was even worse smelling I ate 3 bites and we left.

For being on tha Carson Valley, food was very authentic. Cudos to the chef!!! We will definitely add this to a repeat place when we visit again.

I'll be honest I really like the food here, ive been going here since I was a young child and threw out the years I still love it. The signature dishes are the best and the portion size is perfect. 5 stars

The service and food were excellent, in person, but was not as good when I ordered food delivered, especially the fried rice, its flavor was of old food, stale and the rice wasnt cooked very well. The shrimp was old and way overcooked. Generally speaking, its far better food when you eat in the restaurant, the delivery food is terrible.

Based on the reviews that we read, we had high hopes for this place. My wife ordered Kung Pow chicken, which was flavorless, I ordered Cashew Chicken and when it came out it had no cashews and was flavorless. They tried to make it right by taking my plate back and adding cashews to it, and they brought my wife Orange chicken. Best advice, don't waste your money.

Boondocking in Gardnerville and wanting to use uber eats there were only a few eateries that offered service. So we went with Louies. This is some of the best Asian food we've had ever !. We highly recommend this location.

We ordered 5 different menus and steamed rice.The food was so delicious even we had late lunch at Ski Resort. The atmosphere was warm and nice. The sever was friendly. The young Chinese lady was kind also. The little boy who was playing by himself. He was so cute! My kids were happy to be near with him.Thank you!
