I always love going to get a ham&cheese or one of their many many unique pastries. Even the bagels are not your average bagels. You have to go check this place out, and be sure to go as early as you can, because the secret is out and they may sell out everyday too!

This place is a hidden gem!!! If you live in Reno or sparks, this place is worth the drive!!! The owners are amazing and really care about the quality of what they serve! They make every customer feel like a friend and they take the time to work through what you’d like best! Good food, great drinks and even better people!!!! Took a morning drive to Washoe Valley yesterday to give this coffee and pastry cart a try. The service was excellent! Everyone was very friendly and seemed to be in a great mood. There was no hesitation to walk us through every option of pastry in detail. I ordered a white mocha, which was a bit sweeter than I like but it was not bad at all. But let's be real, I went there for the pastries afterall. We tried a strawberry croissant, San Francisco cinnamon roll, almond custard Danish, and a new white chocolate cookie... Everything was wonderful! At first appearance, the cookie looked like it would be a bit much as it's covered in white chocolate, a drizzle, and had another cookie in the center, but it was really light and well balanced. The pastries had the crunch and flake desired. We also took some pumpkin bread home, so look for a follow-up on that once we give it a try.

I saw a post about this little pastry cart on yelp IG and my husband and I decided to explore. We live in sparks, so a bit of a drive to get there. It's literally right off the road and sits next to a veggie stand. There was a wide variety of pastries and in the little house, they make drinks. The owners were very friendly and the pastries were fresh and flaky. My husband ordered a white mocha and it was a bit too sweet for me but I'm sure there's a sweet tooth out there that would enjoy it. Definitely a hot spot for locals. All in all a nice adventure.

Delicious ham and cheese croissant w/peppers! Such a cute little bakery stand in East Washoe, the people are so nice and the selection of pastries is amazing! Try them out if you're in the area, or make a special trip- it's worth it!!!

I must admit I discovered this one on Instagram first, but seeing it was right around the corner from home, I had to check it out.If you've lived here for any amount of time then you know Schat's is synonymous with great baked goods, and their empire and reputation stretches far and wide across the Sierras. Now, finding a Schat's off shoot, complete with their breads, pastries, cookies, and everything else, right outside my front door was just the cat's meow! Anneke's cart is SUPER cute and a mini replica of the storefronts and standalone buildings you can find in old European towns. It's a welcome site in Washoe Valley and easy to spot driving down Eastlake Blvd. If you somehow miss it, let the line of cars lead the way. She has quickly developed a following in a short 12 months! Saturday is the day to go because that's when you'll find the best spread of baked goods available, and here's your EPIC PRO-TIP... Send her a DM on Instagram, introduce yourself, and let her know when you're visiting and what you're hoping to find a day or two in advance because she's likely to take your order so it's ready and waiting!
