It's good NY Pizza. Good lunch specials, good atmosphere. I would come back. They have a 2 giant slice pizza special that includes a drink.

I got the food pretty fast and the service was good. What was lacking was the food. The pizza itself was ok, but the crust was so bland. And I also got cheesecake. I was at least excited about that because it’s hard to ruin a cheesecake… and they did. It tasted rancid, the worse cheesecake ever. Would I come back, no. Just go somewhere else.

We ordered a chicken parm dinner, chicken ceaser salad and garlic knots. The garlic knots were 100% deep fried. No flavor at all. Instead of ceaser dressing got a tiny side of ranch with the salad, so good thing we had our own ceaser dressing at home. The chicken and lettuce were fresh though…Which is why I’m confused about the entree- the chicken was stuffed on top of the penne and drowned in sauce. I think it was just chicken fingers? It wasn’t one big piece…Then we took a bite. Super rubbery :(It’s like they breaded fresh chicken, froze it then deep fried it. Couldn’t tell. Bummer because the other chicken was fresh…I guess I can’t expect much from a pizza place in Vegas as someone from NJ…

Until yesterday, this was my favorite salad from Rocco's, but yesterday's salad was not only missing three ingredients, I had to add some of the pepperoni from my fridge. This salad was hastily thrown together, and was almost unrecognizable when I opened my to go order. What a huge disappointment! New employees? This salad doesn't represent the antipasto salads of the past.

Margarita Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Meatball Parmigiano Sub, and other pasta dishes are awesome. Their chicken parm and meatball subs are awesome. Best in Aliante!

Grande Cheese is used here, that is number 1 reason to enjoy as close as possible to New York pie. Hot Wings great sauce, leaves you looking for more. I would have given higher scores but they were busy leaving service a bit light and pricing just a tad too high. Otherwise Go For It...

So, I decided to go with lasagna and garlic bread tonight, and paid an extra buck to swap out garlic knots for the bread. Big mistake. The garlic bread was kind of a letdown—it barely had any garlic flavor and felt weirdly spongy, not at all like the usual Italian bread I was expecting. But the real bummer was the lasagna. The good part? It was a big serving, stuffed in an 8.5x6 inch pan that was two inches deep, and it actually tasted pretty good. The bad part? There was barely any pasta in it. I literally found only half of a lasagna noodle in the whole thing. It was basically just a pan of sauce and ricotta cheese goop. Seriously, it was so runny I had to scoop it out with a spoon. Definitely not what I'd call lasagna. To try and save the meal, I ended up making some spaghetti to use the so-called "lasagna" as sauce.

Stopped by after my optometrist appointment this Friday in the same shopping center. Knew exactly what I wanted, a couple of thin-crust, cheese and sauce slices, with some oregano and pepper flakes sprinkled on top. Caught a slice pie fresh, right out of the oven. No conveyer belt oven at Rocco's, they use a "real deal" pizza oven. The huge slices couldn't have been more perfect. Even Dave Portnoy would give these perfectly done slices a 99%. Like Dave says, "just one bite, everyone knows the rules"
