Stonewise - Mead & Cider Brewery •
421 S Frontage Rd Ste 2, Pahrump

“This place is absolutely phenomenal. This is not your typical dark, loud brewery playing annoying music. Stonewise was bright, airy, and inviting. We tried a few flights with different types of meads and ciders, along with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. All were so delicious. Our favorite was the Jotunn’s Ruin Viking Style bottled mead and the Trixie on draft. Our kid even had a great time in the kids play area while we enjoyed our adult beverages. The server was also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Such a cool place and we can’t wait to go back!“

“I initially came here to try out their wifi, as I had a 20 minute video to upload which was going to take three hours at Starbucks in Pahrump, and their wifi is so good here it literally took five minutes. However, when I saw their delicious pastries I was in heaven. I'm from the UK and finding a place with fruit tarts and other delicious choices is a rarity in the US and the aroma of fresh baked bread when you walk in wakens the senses. I almost wish I lived in Pahrump just for this, though I fear my middle aged spread would widen even more if I did live here. Thanks for being here and being so pleasant, that too can be hard to find these days. I will return and recommend you to all my friends.“

“This place has a huge offering of pastries, desserts and breads. The atmosphere was a little odd, the tables are oddly oversized but only seat 4 people, a few smaller tables would accommodate more parties with still plenty of space. The s'mores cookie was out of this world, definitely try it. I would have liked to have my pastry warmed up since we dined in, but staff was busy so I didn't want to ask.“

Nevada Treasure RV Resort Pet Friendly • $$
301 W Leslie St, Pahrump

“We stopped here in our 32 foot fifth wheel heading south in October. The service is good, a staff will guide you to your site and help with backing in. The sites are close together. The biggest setup challenge is that your power, water and sewer hookups are at the back of the site. I used my sewer hose, an extension, and a small extension to get connected. That leaves an uphill flow, so you will need to work that out too. I needed to use a 50 fresh water foot hose, placed under the rig so the water doesn't get sunbaked. My 30 foot 50 amp cable just made it. My advice is to get as far back into the site as you can, if I were planning a long stay I would take off my rear rack that adds 2 feet to the length. I saw people with up to 4 extensions on their sewer. The dog park in the resort is small, good for a quick piddle. There is room on the west side of the resort to walk your dogs. You can go out the main entrance and walk in open fields to the north and west of the resort. The great thing is there are 2 dog parks in Pahrump. We went to one of them, Blosser dog park, @ 10 minutes away. See those reviews, a great place to let the dogs run. The pool is great. Laundry $2 for wash and $2 to dry. I would stay here again.“
