Only Indian restaurant on our way back from Death Valley to Vegas. The ambiance was pleasant, and most importantly, the restrooms were clean! While the menu lacked variety for vegetarians (mostly paneer dishes), what we ordered was good. The paneer tikka masala and chana masala were tasty, and the garlic naan was a standout - perfectly crispy! The kids enjoyed the mango lassy as well.Overall, a 4-star experience. They'd get a perfect score if there were more vegetarian options beyond paneer.$175 for 7 people including gratuities.

This place serves some of the best food you've probably never tried or even heard of. Yum, we've been there twice now and not one legitimate complaint comes to mind. Great service, great food and a unique setting. Wonderful, to the kitchen staff and also to the owner. The place is beautiful! Expect to pay a little more because the menu is full of wonder and delight. You'll want to try everything. .

Simple place with decent food, if you're looking for authentic Indian food then keep looking. They don't ask what level spice, it's a low level for those wondering, you taste the sauce and chicken without worrying about the after curry special. Overall nice place to relax after a long dayVegetarian options: I'm second hand vegetarian so it's all edible to me.

We were surprised and super happy to find an Indian restaurant (on the way from Vegas to Death Valley) with plenty of vegetarian options. We tried Chilli paneer, Caesar Salad and Masala tea. The food was good and service was prompt. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The place felt hygienic and the restrooms were clean.

Pretty bad. The lady at the bar was super nice but super busy due to the rest of the staff hiding in the back. Place was kinda full, but dirty tables and floors kept us from getting a table. Then it took forever to pay and leave. Food tasted bland. Only reason for having good ratings in town is most the people here are old, with no sense of flavor or service.

The pour House is a large nicely appointed space. The menu is huge and the food quality is good. The only problem I have there on a consistent basis is laxidasical service. The last time I was there I almost left before I was greeted by somebody. They're in the middle of a big remodeling so it is a little dusty right now. The plans for the place sound amazing.Parking: The Pour House is located on a hotel property so there is infinite parking.

Good Indian food. Seat yourself even though a little short-handed on staff, everyone was super friendly and provided no nonsense good service. I'd definitely go back. It's the best restaurant I've eaten at in Pahrump so far.

After reading all the great reviews a group of us(6)went to the Poorhouse to check it out. One got chicken tenders and fries, 3 ordered their 12 oz steak special while my wife and I opted to make our first try at Indian food. Everyone said their food was great and this goes with our food too. My wife had the butter chicken and I had tandoori chicken with some samosas too Very, very, good. Our server was Dominika and she was fantastic. All in all a great visit and we'll return.
